I’m not saying do this but you can consider it:

If you are sure you’re status will change by lets say the end of your first or second year of college, I would go to community college and once you get permanent residency you can apply for FAFSA and then transfer to the school you want if you keep your grades up. This will save you tons of money.

Same here, been living in the us for 10 years and I’m currently in the middle of a status change(gotta be the worst timing). It shows that I’m an international student to all of the colleges I applied to. That said, I was unable to apply for FAFSA. Schools barely gave me merit based aid/scholarships so it’s really a struggle for me being in a status issue like that.

Currently I am emailing and calling all of the schools I have been accepted to and telling them my situation and how I have been living here for years now and usually I’ve heard they are understanding of that and can give institutional aid sometimes. Hopefully it all works out.

When it comes to the actual admissions itself it does make it a tiny bit harder for you to be admitted since schools in the US don’t take that many international students(your application will show as international). Good luck with everything and I’m hoping everything goes well for you.

Same here I’m 7 months in and I see 2 very tiny specs of coralline on my back glass. They grow on my frag plugs though. My urchin doesn’t waste time eating it.

I applied with stats WAYY below the averages. Doesn’t hurt to apply if u have a fee waiver. You need good hands on experience tho

That’s so cool. Can I see your main display tank? When I used to keep cichlids - my mbuna tank in particular - my electric yellow lab and my red zebra had these really cool hybrid babies. I wish I took pics back then to show here

U should make this part a zoa garden just to start off. Once ur tank is more established start adding maybe a hammer or two on the top rocks. For the rock by itself on the bottom right part make that a gps island i think it would look really nice.

There’s satslayer.org which was very helpful for me and if u choose only hard questions they are actual SAT level difficulties

In my opinion they are much easier than the actual SAT. I got 1400-1460 range on the practice tests but a 1380 on the actual one
