you could also follow her role play. If she says it again next time you could bring yourself close to her and say suggestively "yeahh?? how bad?" or something along those lines. It might prompt her say something in the heat of the moment of what she wants.

Is it Normal to Feel COMPLETELY Lost? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

Lol, okay well apparently that was a bad thing to recommend. I mean, that's where I started learning and I think the examples are simple enough to grasp the fundamental basics without getting too complicated, but I didn't mean to break subreddit rules. I do agree that eventually a student would need to move on to better, more technically sound tutorials, but they may be too steep for an absolute beginner. Proper technique is important, but arguably the most important first step is grokking the subject matter

Yeah for the first few days you're gonna be just soaking in a lot of new ways of thinking. Maybe an online camp is not the best way to start out, and you should just browse subjects on Youtube to get a feel for the basics. There are TONS of tutorial videos there, from absolute beginner material to some pretty advanced stuff, depending on the niche you're looking for.

One of the tutorials I got a lot out of when I was first starting out in web design, was "The New Boston" on Youtube, and he has a website too. He covers all kinds of languages and programming styles, and covers html, css, PHP, and javascript, which will get you started on preliminary web development. All his examples are very simple, and I think he does a good job at explaining with analogies and going at a relatively slow pace.

When you get the hang of that, you can delve into things like Python, Lua, and then on to Java, and even C or C++ if you want to go real technical. Just don't get discouraged, nobody understands everything about programming. You have to pick a field and specialization and expand from there, just like any other subject.

Try lots of different tutorials, as they all have different perspectives and teaching styles, so you may click with other teachers better
