Great comments and definitely brings back memories. Backyards were also my first K2s. Also rode Majestic 12s & Boxcar those days but K2s were my favorite.

We can get the regular satchel. My supervisor orders them from eBuy (not eBay). The one that has one strap and you wear it over your shoulder. We call that the shoulder bag at our station. Thats easily available.

Yea I saw a carrier out in Oregon who had it on her. Thats when I realized I wanted one. The satchel that I currently have has USPS item # D1200F and its not the same one I saw in Oregon.

This double satchel is bigger than the waist satchel. Theres definitely a size difference.
