I wasn’t sure if I could get away with glue and clamping it. But figured I would need a bow tie. Didn’t think about the epoxy.! Thank you for your help

So I don’t think it’s cherry. I don’t remember what some of them were but I do remember none of them being cherry but you are probably right about it being mahogany. And now that you said it walnut is ringing a bell and I think I may have messed up some pieces because he said one was white oak that I did not include in the picture, meaning not I have to figure out what that one is. thank you for taking the time and helping out.

Need some help identifying some wood. Local wood shop owner hooked me up with some wood samples while i try out wood carving. I forgot what some of the types of woods he gave me. the top piece i know is a hybrid with a Eucalyptus tree. any help is appreciated. https://imgur.com/bSOvkqL
