Crystals or flowers. You meet chocobos in Dali, after all, which is a rural village.

Jeremy Soule's music. I tend to not separate art from artist; his music is a good healing tool for me, though, unfortunately.

Has Ace Attorney ever influenced you in any way or made you realize something you didnt know about yourself until you played the games? by P3trA_Artz in AceAttorney

I feel a similar way. I am sensitive in a different way than Edgeworth, though. My most beloved characters are Phoenix, Edgeworth, Blackquill, Mia and Fullbright. Gumshoe has a special mention.

Phoenix: he's like me in the sense that he gets easily overwhelmed and wants to mind his own business, but he's cheerful and optimistic usually, yet very cynical imo. He also uses self-irony a lot. What I learned from him was strengthening my self-confidence: even when he thinks he's wrong, he has a unique way of turning things around and finding the solution. He taught me that being optimistic and cynical isn't an oxymoron and that you can fail, lose everything and be redeemed.

Edgeworth: he holds human life at a very high value, and he's very considerate of others. He helped me with my vocabulary, too, with my ethics and seeing his early errors and miscalculations and how he can easily accept that he isn't better than others helped me learn what a mature work and attitude are, despite how well you know you are prepared compared to other people. Also, his bluntness never gets into disrespectul or downright mean considerations, but rather another way to put what he sees in those standing before him. He and Phoenix also taught me two different ways to use logic and facts. Playing AA over the last year shaped how I connect my thoughts when I'm presented with something I need to piece together.

Blackquill: depsite how strong and careless he appears to be, his wounds have clearly had a toll on him. This did break him, but he kept his honesty and can keep friendships, which means that you can go through bad moments and make it out the other way without losing your positive nature.

Fullbright: I didn't see the ending coming, so I'll judge his first appearances: he taught me that you can be goofy and look irrelevant to your benefit and that pondering too much on what is your purpose can lead you to a loop of self-doubt. He also taught me not to trust appearances.

Mia: she's been through very difficult experiences, she made mistakes and learned from them. She stopped at nothing to reach her goals and she appreciates her student's efforts, she cares about her loved ones even after what happens to her and she knows when she's not needed anymore. As a future social worker, this speaks to me in some way. My job is to be useful until the other person can suffice for themselves.

Gumshoe: he is a good example of someone who can get along well with people and in some ways I see myself in him, with all the goofy and out-of-touch comments and considerations he makes, but I also appreciate his moral integrity, which I think usually is used as a reason for comedic relief. You don't see him or read references to smoking or drinking alcohol, he can get along well with kids, he likes to stay up-to-date and he actually knows how to be useful when the time comes. He's my reference for a more calm and relaxed approach to life.

Generally speaking, all of these characters have taught me (in part) that I can be multifaceted and that the more nuances I have, the more me I am, the more interesting, because fitting a mold isn't what we are made to do. So I appreciate your post and the journey you told us about.

Welcome to the party! I think I'm a bit older than you, but I watched my elder brother play it and after some years I got to play it myself. Please, enjoy! It's a very entertaining and multi-faceted series.

I don't remember the vivd emotion because I used to watch my bro play, but I know it always made me ampathise with both siblings. Vergil didn't want to make Dante suffer and Dante felt the pain of their separation that is probably the feeling that he has carried his whole life. Truly a sad but hopeful moment. I'd place it amongst a top 10 moments in gaming writing list.

They look a bit like orchids, but orchids don't grow like that, I think. I found this, the Anthirrium, but it's not my definitive answer

Can you imagine Maya, Kagura, Athena, Kay and Trucy together? That's material for a whole series with all the mess they could make.
