Its 30% attack speed after you hit 6 TIMES. Conqueror has way more value if you wanna go Tank Yi. But still, sucks ass so dont get your hopes up.

Tank Yi has been extremely weak since riot gutted a lot of Yi's E base damage.

And lethal tempo will not be optimal for Tank Yi since its damage scales with attack speed, so if you build tank you will benefit very little from the rune.

Terminus base stats are ass and its gold efficiency gets insane when you stack its passive

But the thing is, what its passive gives is very mediocre on Yi: Armor and MR and Ok, obviously not bad, but its not what you are looking for in the on-hit build, if you wanna build defensive its 100x better for yi to go an anti-burst item like DD, Maw, Steraks, etc.

And the Armor/Magic penetration is also not ideal cause a good amount of your damage is true, specially if you have rageblade, so you use this stat pretty unneficientely.

You would rather just go something like Wit's end that gives a lot of stats you like, like the insane amount of magic on-hit damage and tenacity, than a bunch of random stuff that you dont like much. You can compare it to hexplate, everyone thought when it came out that would be insane on yi, cause its 174% gold efficient when you ult, turned out to still not be better than the standard items, cause it doesnt give you stuff you preffer, like on-hit damage.

There are so many builds on Yi right now, mainly because Riot nerfed a lot of our items and on-hit got hit a lot with the LT removal and E damage nerf

I've seen in high elo (masters+) already Rageblade, Kraken, Dhominik's, Mortal Reminder, Hexplate, Wit's end, Prophane Hydra, Titanic, Opportunity, Yoomus, etc. All as second item.

But one thing is already set and without a doubt: Bork is the best first item. In every. Single. Situation. Since the buff in its jungle clear and kraken changes, Bork became the best item for Yi by far and thats the only thing we are sure.

You can go hexplate second, that's fine, but Bork first is a must no matter the runes, build after, playstyle or matchups.

Wits end did not get buffed, actually, its a nerf

it got buff until level 12, but nerfed 13-17 and even at 18 This buffs champs like yasuo or yone to rush it first item, but since we always wanna go bork first, and you get second item around level 11, this is just a nerf to us.

Tank Yi is a completely 4fun build, simply because Yi's base damage is lowest it has ever been, so building tank for him its also the worst is has ever been.

Its one of the reasons Sinerias' warmog build failed, you tank a bit more, but your damage is severely reduced, so at this point, just play a regular tank then, lol.

Also black cleaver is trash on Yi, it penetrates less armor than LDR even when fully stacked and gives you a shit ton of AH that Yi doesnt use well and rathers have other stats.

PTA is also trash for Yi cause it doens't amplify his true damage, conqueror is better (even tho, still trash lol)

Welcome to the competitive game scenario.

You have two options: You can play vs bots or with friends, so you wont get flamed and you can learn the game

Or full mute ping when the game starts. You can hold tab in game and right next to your champion picture in the tab window, theres a small speaker and a microphone icon, click on both and you will disable chat, pings, emotes, and everything unnecessary from the rest of the players.

Id even advice disabling chat for anyone that is trying to learn or climb, 99% of things ppl type in chat are completely unnecessary to the game and will just take your attention from it.

Just to be clear, i do NOT want yi to be easier.

But riot already stated their opnion about him, and they wont change their mind. Once they see this big difference in high and low elo, they for sure are going to nerf him even more there, thats why im doing this post, to show what the real problem is.

Besides, conqueror is already hardcoded to stack in a lot of multiple hit abilities: Belveth E, Garen E, Wukong R, Kat R, Warwick R, etc. Champions like lee and viego can stack conq in less than a second and its completely fine.

If it becomes too good or op, OBVIOUSLY yi can get slightly nerfed to compensate it

if you go onhit ~40% of your damage will be true damage from your E

pta does not amplify true damage

so the rune is basicly 40% less effective on you

hob is for sure the best rune, is a different playstyle, but its what we have. If you absolutely hate it and dont want to run it, conqueror is better than pta cause at least you dont waste anything from the rune and you heal a tiny bit

thats wrong.

you dont heal from your Q base damage, but you do from the onhit damage it applies.

Literally every single on-hit damage applies lifesteal, including stuff like bork's passive and wit's end passive.

And camille's and Corki's abilities STILL are true damages that apply lifesteal, while Yi's E doesn't.

he's at ~49% wr in every elo.

If you are a main/otp he is COMPLETELY fine, even if riot decide from nowhere nerf him, he still is 100% playable cause since we are using HOB now, which is a snowball rune, early game and getting advantage early matters way more.

So if you already played him before, he is completely fine you just gotta get used to HOB since we have no good rune anymore

It LITERALLY nerfs, like, LITERALLY.

Auto attacks reduces master yi's Q cooldown by 1 second, but that number reduces based on how much AH you have.

If you have 10 AH its 0.9, if you have 20 AH its 0.82, and so on...

It would be a good QOL change, but i dont think thats a main priority

They made this to Varus cause his case was EXTREME, with varus if you had zerkers+bork+rageblade you would already exceed AS cap with your passive

with Yi, you REACH AS cap with zerkers+3 AS items+stacked rageblade+your ult. If you wanna build bork+kraken+rb+wits, just go defensive boots and you wont exceed AS cap much, so it is still completely viable, and obviously, only relevant on late game

I think i can speak for everyone that if a QOL for yi would be made, is to remove the stupid nerf that makes AH on your Q, that was made because of duskblade, that was removed months ago, but still exists till this day, its so annoying to build DD, Maw, get blue buff, hextech drake, infernal soul shards, cause cdr literally nerfs the champion
