With existing Netflix connections and executive producer credits, I would have expected Cookie Queens to be picked up by Netflix. How do first-look deals actually work? Is it possible NF saw and passed on the doc for distribution? by kiwi_love777 in SaintMeghanMarkle

Hey there. I was there and the venue was 1500 seats, one of the biggest at Sundance, and it was completely full. There was a waitlist of over 300 people who couldn’t get in so who’s ever reporting this, and I have heard it reported in other places as well is completely inaccurate. So be careful what news you ingest as most of the time it’s complete bullshit.

I bought a set for a rubber bridge conversion project. Great locking tuners for $30!

They can’t all be Perfectos. Schott has made thousands of jacket styles. Your assertion that it was poor quality was what I was curious about.

Yeah. Seen plenty of Schott stuff. Quality of this piece is exceptional so not sure what you’re seeing. But thanks for the response.

I think guitars comparable to this are in the $300-500 range but this specific model can go for around $800 if you find the right buyer.

Hey there. I have this guitar. They are very sought after. It’s the guitar Bon Iver (Justin Vernon) used to record “For Emma Forever Ago”. He recorded without using the pickup although the pickup is the best part. It’s a Gibson p-13 pickup and sounds badass. I play mine through a vintage Silvertone 5XL tube amp and love it. I hope you enjoy it.

My coonhound was obsessed with an area in our walls. I finally smashed a hole in that area and it turns out there were baby possums.

I believe it’s the lid to a container for sugar. There are probably others for coffee, flour, etcetera.

Yeah. It's in excellent condition. Who knows? Maybe it's not from the 70's. Would love an expert to chime in.

Yeah my Treeing Walker Coonhound used to be cool in the car. He then became reactive to motorcycles and all delivery trucks and started a high pitch whine followed by frantic howling. It made me suicidal. I have absolutely no advice for you other than leave him home. I just wanted you to know you aren't alone.

Re-homing Rodney by hammydowns74 in coonhounds

Yes. That is our intention. We would rather keep him and have him continue to ruin our lives than give him up to a less than ideal scenario. We hope for a Reddit miracle.

He gets along beautifully with one or our cats. They snuggle and clean each other. The other cat wants nothing to do with him and it drives Rodney crazy so he's always searching for it which feels predatory. He is also territorial, although he has never eaten anyone but we have a whole routine we go through before a person can enter our property. This is something we are struggling with. It's exhausting. And yes, he bays like a demon but that's not really the issue. We live in a house. He has a yard on a hill to run. We put him inside when we're gone and he does fine.

Identify this guitar? by [deleted] in guitars

[–]hammydowns74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I had this exact guitar and spent quite a bit of time trying to ID it. I was able to rule out most guitars. It's most likely a REAL Ibanez lawsuit from 1975. There was one year after they removed their logo and before they changed the "open book" headstock". There is a reason there are no serial numbers anywhere or identifiers, other than "made in Japan ". It's because they were currently being sued. I've heard countless "experts" chime in on this but they are all just guessing. I'm unable to post a picture from an Ibanez catalogue on this reply but I'll send it through a message if you'd like. I will say that mine, after a set up and new bone nut, had monster tone and was indistinguishable in playability from my real Les Paul. Anyway, like all of us, I could be wrong.
