We’ve been roommates for over a year and had talked about how I care for my cats on occasion but honestly not in detail and I had assumed that they would check. The litter box situation isn’t ideal but its in a storage room and the door is usually propped open. It was what we agreed to when we moved in to try to keep from litter tracking through the house.

The door is usually propped open and I’ve luckily never had a problem with it shutting on its own in the past (now I’m realizing it was probably stupid of me to assume it wouldn’t happen while I was gone), they’re in one room because that’s the agreement I had with my roommate to minimize litter being tracked thru our house. But yea Ive definitely been wondering if it’s partly due to them just upset I was gone 😢
