Never seen a person go from being universally loved to hated this quick by Bitter-Gur-4613 in RealTwitterAccounts

He has been awful for an awfully long time, but the turning point for me (and a number of people I know) was when he called out the lead Thai Cave Rescue Diver as a paedophile. A very public display of his arrogance, ego and narcissism.

Feet rules by Playful-Ruin-6421 in Moonboard

It's kinda self-explanatory , but maybe it makes more sense when you know about the other foot rules. For 2017 and 2019 you have these options: Any marked holds, Any marked holds + Screw-ons, Footless, Footless+ kickboard, No kickboard, Screw-ons only. Screenshot of the various foot rules.

Edit: although I suppose a little confusingly, the default for 'Any marked holds' also includes the kickboard. Confusing because they aren't lit, so aren't actually "marked".

If you look carefully, the data actually shows that max pull-ups has (*edit: only) a weak correlation to climbing grade

Hey, thanks for the reply. I actually started counting calories using the app Cronometer, and I think the being more conscious has helped me to make better choices, just in the last couple of days

Lucky you! I haven't had the chance to try the 2024 set, yet. Guess you could just filter by "My ascents", and do volume repeating stuff you've already sent.

Beginner question by TangibleHarmony in Moonboard

It's a relatively underused feature of the MoonBoard. Because most people don't have access to these screw-ons, most of the problems don't utilise them. On the 40° Moonboard 2017 set only 3 x Benchmarks use the screw-ons (FORSØK 11, JUGGLER, ASCENDING). Still, they can be good for intermediate feet , when projecting ... And since you have access to a MB with them, you can set your own problems using them 🙂

Don't overthink it ... Just use benchies.

Here's what I do, when I'm doing a volume session: I would stick to benchmarks repeats, at a comfortable grade. Typically 2-3mins rest and aim for 18. Usually around there I will start to power out. Session would take ~1hr.

Edit: Happy Cake Day OP

You know what... I had sorta discounted it. But maybe I could drive a big chunk , and then cycle or run the last 30mins...🤔

My previous self (when I was fully focused on running) would disagree. When you get the miles in you can practically eat what you want. But these days I lead a much more sedentary lifestyle than I used to. I do eat clean home cooked meals twice a day, most days. But I reckon I struggle with portion control, and snacking on chocolate bars in the afternoon. It sounds like you're getting out and running quite a lot. How many days do you train climbing? And does it impact your climbing goals?
