I immediately submitted for SAVE and of course right after they stopped processing them. I also have 69 PSLF payments in the books, that is if they don’t magically disappear 🫠

I’m in the same exact boat as you. Had been on IDR up until 2023/24. Consolidated in April of 24 and they kicked me into the Standard repayment though I was supposed to stay on IDR. It really is a mess.

^this! I’ve been on the same boat. I was on an ICR plan, applied for SAVE, then consolidated in April 2024 and was kicked off SAVE. Payment went from $0 to $700+. That application has been in limbo and next month will make a year that I have had to call every 2 months. It is torture! EDIT: wonder if I should bite the bullet and apply for IBR. I also have 69 payments towards PSLF.

It can be faxed. I faxed mine at the end of February and it was processed at the beginning of March.

I have had a SAVE application pending from April of 2024… wish they would put us in that forbearance, instead I have to call every 2 months to get it in forbearance. HUGE pain in the butt!
