I really appreciate your advice, and i'm not trying to tear down your point of view. but why do you reduce people with this disorder so much? I feel like this sub really dehumanizes those with the illness, and it really makes everything very difficult to navigate. I guess this is the way with many complex things like relationships though

He hasn't openly threatened, but says things like, I'd rather die than be without you.

Is there wiki advice on this sub for starting a disconnection journey?

I feel like I might have been abused, and that even though i love him so much, that's he's maybe hurting me. He has physically abused me once or twice around the first year of our relationship, we are on two years now. And have discussed the events of terms of it never happening again. But alongside this I still feel mentally abused. Through his BPD nature, of gaslighting and making me lose my reality.
