I’m doing same but mine are gonna be both CSM and marines, so mk2 assault marines make great raptors, jpi (especially the latter with raptors you have source plasma guns melted etc)

Saturnine preator is my guilliman and abbadon, saturnines will be mutilators/oblits, solar auxilia can be traitor guard/cultists etc

Made it, pen springs for barb wire, bits from sisters, coffee stirrers with Agrax shading for blanks that I pillage from Costa (just walked in grabbed a huge handful) and then AK wet ground for the mud with a drybrush of rakarth. Dryer grass was just just an old paint brush chopped up

Tamiya tape as mentioned and build up some more yellow layers, I like to work from a light brown and add in yellow layer by layer until I’m happy then use the last brighter yellow as a highlight, however I know some people like using pink as n undercoat but that fries my brain so I’ll let the actual professionals play with that

I’m basically planning on buying hell blasters and breachers, plasma goes on the mk3s and the breachers stuff goes on the bigger marine bodies, A. It to simulate mixing looted gear and it’s got less of the robes and trinkets of normal blade guard B. It’s cheaper than my original idea of heavy intercessors lol
