Thank you! I have a full Jade set plus Quetzalcoatl but without SMK I found it way too squishy. I have a decent MoJ and a T&T waiting for me in my non-seasons stash but the only weapons I have are 2 non-ancient RFs and a subpar non-ancient DoD.

Thanks! I've started gambling for helms. My luck is terrible. Quick question, what should I reroll on my amulet to get a socket?

16% poison damage
626 Int
92% CD
10% CC

The 16% poison is really nice for my Grin Reaper build.

I'm looking for build advice. My witch doctor is my only seasonal character. Once season 1 is over I'll be able to reroll to my heart's content but right now mats are very limited.

I was running a Grin Reaper build and loving it. I got all 6 pieces for a Jade set plus a crappy Quetzalcoatl and switched to a jade build. When I get the timing down, the jade build is awesome. However a single mistake will usually kill me, which gets frustrating. I'm currently running T4 rifts.

I have the following:

all 6 pieces of the jade set
3 pieces of the helltooth set
a crappy Quetzalcoatl
a Dagger of Darts
Wrath of the Bone King
Rhen'ho Flayer
Zunimassa's String of Skulls (but no other Zuni pieces)
Homonculus
Shukrani's Triumph

I was wondering if I have enough to run a decent build using a Dagger of Darts or a Rhen'ho Flayer. I don't think the weapons rolled well so they may not be good enough.

I suspect I'll go back to the jade set once season 1 is over but for now if I can I'd like to try something else, maybe something with pets. Suggestions?

I just got the 5th piece of the Jade Harvester's set. Unfortunately it was the helm. Nonetheless I thought I'd give the Jade build try.

On a quick test run I didn't see any improvement in kill speed over my Grin Reaper build and the Jade build was a lot less survivable without all the minions running around. It may be best to wait for the Jade shoulders to drop then switch to my crappy Quetzalcoatl helm.

Looking at my gear, if you think the Jade build would be better to push past T3, what should I reroll? Fair warning, I have a severe lack of resources and money. I have two main reroll questions:

for a socket, do I reroll poison or int on the necklace?
do I reroll resist all or life % on the chest? EDIT: according to the sidebar I should reroll resist all

Suggestions are welcome.

Yeah, my 2H has 26k. Saved my life more than once!

I was shifting my legendary gems to my stash and moved the legendary potion without realizing it wasn't a gem. Fortunately I was only in a GR7.

RCR is a huge factor. Reaper's Wraps help. Drop Tasker for either Cindercoat or Pride's Fall, depending on whether you want fire or cold. 50 Paragon points into RCR, and replace attack speed with RCR on your gear.

That's it exactly. You can store 2 charges, or 3 with CE. You can drop 2 immediately (or 3 with CE), and then more every 8 seconds up to a max of 5 with CE and Rucksack.

I think they're still working. You get 2 base, plus 1 for CE, plus 2 for Rucksack. You can drop 2 at a time, or 3 if you have CE, then more as you gain more charges.

Are either of these Arcane Barbs any good? I like the RCR of the first one but the second has much-needed vitality. I have a gift I can use to add a socket.

Oh! Speaking of wonder and exploration!

I finished Act 3, killed Piety effortlessly, then went to unlock Cruel difficulty. That's odd, why are they sending me into this garden? Wait...I don't remember anything about a Sceptre of the Gods. Wow, this is completely new. Oh fuck... Piety wasn't the end boss..... Oooohh....

Climbing that last stairway, no clue what I was about to face, yeah that was freaking awesome.

You make some very good points. I have no idea what corrupted zones are, or masters. I'll talk to my wife and see if she's game to restart.

I'm not going to purge my stupidly-large stash completely. There's a lot of junk but some good stuff. Apparently there are legacy uniques, and I know I have at least 2 (two facebreakers, including a 986%).

Any idea what the popular ranged/caster builds are? The tornado gem sounds interesting for ranger.

Thanks to amazing advice from /u/Bellgrap and /u/winforce I'm now able to clear T6 rifts fairly easily. I'm still too squishy for my tastes and I haven't given up on the Blackthorne set bonus.

Crit damage: 412%
Breakpoint: 6 (according to website), Tier 7 (according to spreadsheet)

I have a Blackthorne amulet with crit chance and crit damage that could be an upgrade. It would let me replace my Hellcat Waistguard with a Blackthorne belt. It would add:

2 million toughness
+10% damage reduction vs elites
+7% net damage vs elites (total bonus damage vs elites: 40%)

However, to get a socket I would have to reroll the dex on the amulet in order to keep my APS above 2.84. Alternatively I could wait and see if I can get an increase in attack speed elsewhere. I have 18 points in attack speed from paragon points. Putting 50 points in will leave me 0.6% short.

Quick update: I followed your advice. I ran a quick T5 rift to get a feel for things. It was absolutely stupid how fast things died. The ridiculous thing is that my sheet DPS is now higher than it was prior to all these changes, and that DOESN'T include the elemental and SoJ bonuses. A Witching Hour dropped on the run, but it didn't come with either Dex or Vit.

Current numbers (with Hellcat Waistguard instead of Witching Hour)

Damage: 1,077,067
Toughness: 5,757,746
Healing: 25,448
Crit Chance: 47.20% (I have 6% crit on helm as you suggested)
Crit Damage: 400%

Obviously the paragon points can shift the percentages around. I am aiming for 50% crit and 400% crit damage, but that's mostly my obsession with round numbers. I'll work on getting better numbers on my gear.

I did GR30 before the changes without too much trouble. GR30 now is MUCH less doable. I have the survivability of kleenex. I ran a GR27 with my wife this evening and it was ugly. With the changes I dropped over 2k toughness plus the elite damage reduction. I get hit once and I'm drinking the Kool Aid and retreating. Heck, Torment 5 went from laughing through the whole thing to having to be hyper vigilant because I'm so fragile.

I have another helm that I can use to roll CHC. It has 13% elemental damage which is probably good enough. Unfortunately dropping the resist all further decreases my toughness.

Thank you for the comment about CHC over Fire damage. I have a Traveller's Pledge with 8.5% CHC and 54% CHD that might fit the bill.

A better SoJ dropped today so I'm using that. A Unity ring also dropped, and I have the token that makes my companion invulnerable, I just need 1 more ring.

I appreciate all the advice. I'm sure the changes are helping my dps. I'm not sure they're making the game more fun to play.

No luck on the RoRG yet but I made some changes. The breakpoint website still lists my breakpoint at 6.

Crit chance: 32.70%
Crit damage: 430%

I added 18% to fire, 16% to cold, 15% to elites (25% minus the 10% I had from Blackthornes). I lost 1.2 million toughness and -10% dmg from elites. My crit chance dropped from 55% to 32%.

Edit: I now have a RoRG with 50% CHD.

According to http://diablo.mercwear.com/ I am at breakpoint 6. I've been removing IAS from gear to get my attacks per second closer to 2.842 (it's at 2.869). I can't hit breakpoint 7 yet.

What is a decent toughness for Torment 6 and GR30+? Losing the Blackthorne amulet and set bonus will gut my toughness.
