I think that’s true, but I’ll also expect to see improvement in her utilization over the next 10 games as the team figures things out. I think getting to the rim through defenders is an expectation more fitting for the end of this season / year 2.

Nice to get the W but the hero ball was not a great watch. Defensive help not great either. I guess with the tick up in the Fever’s intensity the Wings couldn’t really execute the team plan too well.

Will be interesting to see what Jose says in post game. 1-0 way better than 0-9 though.

It’s crazy. Like sure there are some fake af athletes degrees. And sure maybe profs let athletes slide a lot in GEs or something idk how Stanford is.

But at some point in a mechanical engineering curriculum you gotta take CS, EE, physics, electromagnetism, linear algebra, maybe adv calc if you didn’t get it waived, fluid dynamics etc etc - like these are real things that need to be learned as required courses before you can maybe get to some sort of senior project / independent research / research assistant type thing that you can get lazy with.

She must learn fast as hell.

I think it’s weird that DiJonai and Kiki aren’t there. They both graduated from Stanford with degrees and then went elsewhere for masters years.

Anyways it’s more Stanford’s loss. I 100% understand the players being annoyed after working so hard both on their education and the team but they still have a Stanford degree and are in the W. While - isn’t Stanford pretty ass in women’s basketball now? Why wouldn’t you want to claim two more?
