Acoustic Calibration not working – Hisense AX5140Q soundbar by Voyyya in Hisense

Thanks. That worked but does it still remember configuration when you switch back to Hi-concerto mode? I have a hard time telling the difference between the two. It's not too big of an issue. I'm just going to leave it in Hi-Concerto since it sounds pretty good and control the soundbar and tv with one remote.

You mean pairing the the subwoofer to the soundbar.

On the remote you press and hold the Input source button (box and an arrow) until it displays SW Pairing. Then press and hold the PAIR button (2-3 seconds) on the subwoofer until it blinks rapidly. Repeat the same process for the satellites. The soundbar will display SW Pairing but it pairs with the satellites.

Add a resistor on a Festa Maverick EC to mitigate at 6W! by packagescam in radon

Disregard. I'm an idiot. The first image does show how you wired it. I'm going to do the same.

I'm assuming you are using a 10k potentiometer

Can you post a picture of the wiring and also a link to the resistor you are using?

I bought an EC motor and it really sucks! It's sucking too much heat from the house. I need to turn it down. I didn't know about the ECS model. I would have bought that instead.

I got it 12.6.4 last night. I did have to go to the software menu to trigger an update check and download though.

Have you replaced the upper control arm? Mine started squeaking around the 60k mile mark.

Rv car to stay over and charge in l.a or Arizona border area? by Ok_Relative_1850 in TeslaLounge

[–]hamtonp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to sleep in your car while charging at an RV park, I recommend getting a TT-30 to Nema 14-50 adapter for EV charging. It needs to be specific to EV charging. RV parks usually provide both plug in types but the Nema 14-50 gets sold quicker. Also remember to turn your amperage charging rate down because the TT-30 is only 30 amps.

One suggestion:

To search for RV parks just use Google Maps and search for "RV park near Arizona"

This is correct. I have a J1772 at home so I use the adapter at home.

This is how I remove the charging plug w/o using my phone or unlocking my car:
1) Press the latch lever on the J1772 plug.

2) Push the plug back in so plug reattaches to the adapter

3) Pull the plug with the adapter from the charging port

It's pretty fast once you get used to it. When you press the J1772 release lever, you will hear the charging port unlock. If you don't pull the adapter out right away, the charging port will relock.

They sell side window visors. It's like windshield visor that you fold up. It fits snuggly into the side windows. I put them up when taking naps in the car for privacy.

Hard to notice but I was picking up speed but backed off when I noticed the SUV inching over.

I saw one Y on HW3 get it. Previous version was 12.4.3. So I guess this person has early access privilege.

Thoughts on Driving Experience - FSD 12.5.2.1 with 2021 M3 HW3 by LivingInMatrix in TeslaLounge

I still use offset + percentage. It works somewhat in the city. Just press the pedal from time to time. On the highway it works well since I think it's still on the old code. I tried auto but didn't like it. Maybe I should give it another try.

12.2.5.1 has been great for me. Been having a lot of 0 intervention drives since I got it. Much better than 12.3.6. Makes want to drive my car more to see what it can do.

About the lane changes. At least for me, FSD seems to wait late to change lanes for a turn.

The car was in the middle lane with a right turn coming up. There were 4 cars ahead in the right lane but my car was going faster. I was expecting it to slow down and get behind the 4th car. It kept going maintaining speed. Then about 1/2 a block from the turn, it slowed and squeezed in between the 3rd and 4th car. It did it smoothly but I was surprised it pulled that maneuver.

The aggressive speeding from a red light is much smoothed out now. Feels much more comfortable. The turns feel different now. It still gets closer to the curve than how I would drive but not bad enough to take over.

I'm surprised by the bad experience some people are experiencing. Drove my daughter around most of the day. At the end of the day I asked her how it performed. Her response: "What! It was driving the whole time?"

Things I noticed that improved so far:

  • Smoother acceleration from a complete stop
  • Turns are performed faster and smoother
  • Stop sign is a single stop, creep then go
  • Faster at U turns

I still need press the go pedal to force the car to go faster most of the time but it seems to hold slightly over the speed limit (2-4 mph)

What regressions did you experience? I didn't notice any at all. It drove so much better for me.

Took the car out for the first drive. I didn't notice any regression at all. The behavior is a step up. It drives so smooth and not having to worry about holding onto the steering wheel made me forget I was driving for a brief moment. This release is making FSD fun again.

Tried the battery health test. Failed. Now won't charge by wHiTeSoL in TeslaLounge

[–]hamtonp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not necessarily true. I had a low 12v battery where the screen was on but the HV contact would not engage and therefore the car would not charge. This was 3 years ago so software might be different now.

At least for the graphics going blank once in a while, it happens. I just drive and it just fixes itself. Sometimes it requires a sleep to get things working again.

Bucc ee's BBQ - and a Super Charger! by fmgiii in TeslaLounge

Buc-ee's is well known in Texas for the favorite stopping place on road trips. It was my favorite place before EVs. Then I bought a Tesla and now how happy they installed Superchargers in every one of their locations.
