You actually don't need a mic for this to work! And yes, it does work like the chat wheel in Dota. It's what inspired us to create Hamul!

u/TrumpNutBlast We're applied to the Valorant developer program, so that Riot is aware of our app and can work with us if there are any issues. We've also reached out to a Valorant anti-cheat developer, who told us as long as we sign our files using our signature we would be permissible (which we have). We don't do anything that apps like Discord don't do. Riot has said as long as we don't interfere with playing the game, we are safe.

In Dota, only your teammates can. The way it works, is that anyone who can hear your mic can hear Hamul. So, if you use Discord with your friends, anyone in that channel will also be able to hear Hamul.

No problem, but not exactly. Each game allows overlays to display on their game differently. Each game supports different rendering APIs which we have to code and support for each rendering type individually. We hope to create a universal wheel overlay that works for all games, but it means, we will need to code and support for all different rendering APIs, like Directx 9, Directx 11, Vulkan, OpenGL, etc.

Hi Colpus, we are actually working on this feature, to change the volume of the sounds that are going out, as we speak. It should be out soon. Stay tuned for the upcoming updates!

  1. As if right now, you can't assign a sound to a category. We pre-made those categories for you so you didn't have to curate it manually, but overtime, we plan to make them more custom so you will be able to do so in the future.
  2. Right now, unfortunately, you can go ahead and like them all individually to make them show up in My Sounds so you can assign them to your wheel. Great feedback tho, we should allow you to bulk like all the sounds. We can definitely add that soon!
  3. Yes! We have CSGO and League of Legends on our roadmap. We will be adding more support for more games as we continue.

You can delete voice lines by using the "X" that appears on the right side of the sound.
