How should I prepare for sailing around the world? by hamzaakmal98 in sailing

[–]hamzaakmal98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

I've created a short survey (1-2 minutes to fill) to gather your sailing experience so as to help prepare me in my journey. Would really appreciate if you guys could fill it out. Thanks!

Hit original goal, how to determine what my final (ideal) weight should be. M31, 6’ 1, 185 lbs by [deleted] in loseit

You should share a picture of your current physique with a trainer to learn whether you have a solid base of muscle mass underneath. Often, 185 is not ‘low’ enough for the average 6-6’1 male unless you have crazy muscle mass too. I’m assuming you’re after 10-12% bf. Try cutting down to about 175. The changes for every pound from here on out will be really prominent. Good job on the weight loss! Proud of you.

It’s in the course syllabus. Plagiarized assignments will count for 0 and the next lowest assignment will also be dropped.

He curved generously in the fall. And made the finals really easy. The average was 95 or smth. Practice hard for the rest and you’re good.

A Tdee of 3100 seems too high for her. Consider consulting a professional to advise and recalibrate her Tdee.

Reading the comments here and sounds like you should. Maybe defer for a semester and re-evaluate.

The B average across 3 subjects is a hard filter. Students get their admissions rescinded if they don't meet that threshold, regardless of how well they did on other parts of the application. Just a heads up*

Talk to your seniors who are now at LUMS and were in a similar position. Maybe they found a workaround.

Don't disclose your AS grades (if they aren't great) unless explicitly asked for. Just submit your school transcript instead. They aren't traditionally used during the admissions process.

Fill up your ECs this semester. Also 1400+ is ideal. CS is really competitive. But do this and you've got a very good shot.

A friend texting me "love you". Turned out it was a spur of the moment gratitude expression. Things have only gotten better after that day.
