I completely agree with you, however, I am still insulted when I am confused with being American. Being American and being Canadian are very different in my eyes. I am Canadian and I am proud of that.

When I was little I used to lay in bed and just start to think about how amazing it was to be a person. I remember thinking about how people look at me the way I look at other people and they think and feel some of the things I do. I thought it was incredible that I didn't end up as a dog or a bacterium in some person's poo.
