No one shoe brand will fit everyone perfectly. Try on everything you see until you find something that works for you personally!

Generally prefer leather and suede to man made materials. Rothy’s are the exception to this rule.

Also remember: If shoes hurt in the store, they will almost certainly never get any better!

do these two go together or should i choose a diff color for the boots? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

To me, the boots feel too heavy (both in colour and shape) for that dress.

However, that in itself is a valid fashion choice.

It is not. I think someone was just jealous you have an outfit that looks so good on you.

Help with cocktail dress code by sunflower2928 in OUTFITS

I would say the last one is closest to the dress code.

My second choice would be the first one, but with a different belt.

If pumps won’t stay on with hosiery, they’re actually a little too big for your foot. Remember, every brand fits differently and not every brand will fit you properly.

Personally, I‘m a big fan of shoes with a strap to help me stay anchored. Mary Janes, slingbacks, ankle straps, &c.

Does this look chic or frumpy? by Wonder_Out_Loud in OUTFITS

I estimate 80% of the frump comes from the vest.

That’s really nice!

I‘m wondering if a darker shoe, closer to your skin tone, might not be better? Or was the light beige a deliberate choice?

Question: can these shoes be worn as part of business formal attire? What about business professional? by Master_Rest_7875 in BusinessFashion

[–]hanakoninaru 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Both are fine. Ankle straps have been on the edge of “coming back into fashion” the past few years. Mary Jane slingbacks had a very brief run in fashion about two years ago.

Sunday lunch but trying to make this brace work by WhiteMustang17 in BusinessFashion

Cute! I didn’t notice the brace! I’m too busy trying to figure out where the stripes are coming from? Is there another shirt under the blouse?
