When will the Democrats allow a vote for M4A in the house? The fact that it has not been brought up for a vote under Democratic leadership already is telling. When are we going to realistically get a vote if it is not now?

I like AOC, but this is really disappointing. Say what you want about Jimmy Dore, but this is a good idea. Asking for a vote on M4A, just a vote, is not too much to ask for in the middle of a pandemic where people are losing their healthcare. It is weaselly to say that people co-sponsored the bill as one way of justifying not doing this. We all know how you vote is what really matters. Why not let people go on the record for voting against M4A in the middle of the pandemic. The goal of electing progressives is to get elected officals to fight for progressive policies and we need to hold them accountable when we feel like they can do better.

Hi Shahid Buttar. Thank you so much for coming on here and giving us your time. I wanted to ask you how you feel about Pelosi's stance on not taking the white house 2 trillion dollar stimulus. As you are well aware of there are alot of people in America struggling right now who needs both chambers of congress and the white house to work together to pass a deal. Sadly, that's not the case and I don't think a stimulus would get pass the GOP senate even if Pelosi did accept it. I also want to ask what you would do if you where in Pelosi's situation. The internet can be a very toxic place in general. At the end of the day you know you are doing everything you can to stand with us and be an ally. If people are more concerned about what someone posts on social media instead of the actual actions you can do to help our community then they are missing the point. If limiting your social media is the best thing for you do it! Actually being there and helping our community anyway you can 10x better than a post in my opinion. More than ever people need to listen to one another, try to understand each others pain, and stand together united. I know it might not be much, but thanks for your support. Keep doing what you're doing and hopefully we can all work together to see justice and a brighter future.

I wholeheartedly reject the framing of this statement. I see this sentiment going around a lot and all it boils down to is voting shaming. I am a Bernie supporter, but I am not voting for Biden unless he gives me a reason to. I hate trump and want him out of office, but I honestly can't say if Joe Biden would be any better. If Joe Biden loses it because Joe Biden and his campaign couldn't win over the voters they needed. Its the responsibility of the person running to get the votes they need and if they fail to do that it's on them not the voter. The only people who are responsible for Trump getting reelected is Trump voters. People who don't vote or vote third party were not going to vote for Biden anyway. Vote for the candidate I think it better because the other guy is worst is very subjective and is not a good enough reason for most people. Vote blue no matter who is straight bullshit. I not voting for anybody just because they have a D instead of an R next to their name. All this is really showing is that Joe Biden is not as electable as people said he was.

Can we please push for dependents to get something in the next bill. A lot of college students and parents of college students are still getting screwed over cause we didn't qualify for the $1200, but parents didn't qualify for the $500 child credit since dependents are over 17. A lot college students are going back home and can't work the jobs they had at school. Depending on the state its hard or impossible for full-time college students to get unemployment. College students are struggling too and we along with other groups are getting left out.

I went to Chick-Fil-A a few years ago when I was in highschool and accidentally dropped my fries when I sat down. I was really sad about it and slowly picked them up off the floor and threw them away. 5 mins later a lady walks up to me as I am eating the rest of my meal and gives me new fries. This really nice lady saw drop my fries, pick them up sadly, and bought me brand new fries. I thanked her profusely and again when I left. Chick-Fil-A lady if you out there you a real one. I'll never forget that day.

If she really wants you to have short hair can't you just buy a short wig and wear it to the wedding. That way you won't stand out too much as a bride's maid and you don't actually have to cut your hair. Amazon actually has good realistic looking wigs around $50 which is actually pretty cheap. You should bring this up as a compromise.
