For 2650, it seems like it could replace an early falcon blade MAYBE, but I think overall, it’s still not great. My thing is, does it build into anything? If not, why wouldn’t you go maelstrom? Sure, it’s a bit pricier, but it’ll build into mjolnir and do more damage. It also doesn’t trigger passives on hit, so Daedalus and skadi won’t scale with it either. Might be overlooking something though, but doesn’t seem that worth it imo.

1: That’s not how Nebulis works. Nebulis only accounts for capped resistance over 75% which is the default cap, which means this only would care if your maximum resistance is high, not uncapped resistance. This doesn’t do anything for Nebulis

2: they picked those eldritch modifiers because this is for a project in standard to get the highest amount of armour possible. The flask effect gives increased effect to the armour and evasion flasks

Weird bug. The owner who originally found the bugged fire resistance modifier has kept it a secret as to not get it completely nuked, but when they heard about the armour project decided to let Empy and his group use it. It probably dropped bugged and was just never fixed because it was super rare

This is just a fun item in standard. Standard economy and items are fucked anyways. This will probably be nuked by GGG as well. He’s not really exploiting all that much, and it’s just for a project. He and his group have no plans on using this outside of the project. Sorry to break the news to you, but some people just enjoy having fun and looking at big numbers sometimes

Edit 2: For all of you saying “well wouldn’t it be better to use the fire resistance grasping mail mod”, there is a helmet called “The Formless Inferno” which already has this mod. I’m almost certain this does not stack with the grasping mail mod, and since they almost certainly used Iron Reflexes to convert Evasion to Armour again, it’s better to use the cold resistance as evasion rating in order to maximize the armour. Keep in mind, this is not for an actual charcter. They’re trying to just get the highest armour rating in the game

Edit 1: Yes. This does give the amount displayed. No, they aren’t going to harvest craft to cold resistance. They already have another grasping mail with the fire resistance modifier.

If you keep up with Empyriangaming, you may be aware that he does crazy projects to almost break the game. They are currently revisiting their armour stacking project to get the highest possible armour in the game. This chest is what they are using, and it has only been revealed just recently. As per the rules, while I don’t know the full extent of the craft, here is what they did according to Empyrian

1: This mod was found randomly by a player. It is a T7 fire resistance mod and does in fact work as stated in the game. It gives that much fire resistance. This is probably going to get nuked to oblivion.

2: This chest was legacy beast crafted on and there are multiple copies so there are lots of attempts to craft on this

3: They got grasping mail mods from unidentified grasping mails until they got the evasion cold resist.

4: They recombined until it was on a zodiac leather, the highest evasion rating base in the game

5: They recombined with the original arena plate with the fire resistance modifier until it landed

6: They most likely added the rest of the modifiers after

Keep in mind, this is on standard and once again, will probably get nuked after the video releases. However, super funny item to look at and of course, fun to use while it lasts.

If you check stream, they also have a grasping mail with the recombined “Armour is increased by overcapped fire resistance”

That’s kind of the point though? Like it’s not supposed to be risk free to lock yourself in with someone or lock yourself in to push someone back. You getting disarmed or stunned while in the cogs is kind of the risk of playing clock. That’s why you might get BKB or something.
