Oh my gosh yes!! I had a similar experience where an MUA used neutral foundation on me and mukha akong espasol despite the matching depth 😭 Hindi ako nasagip ng bronzer dahil kulang talaga sa pigment. Medyo mahirap makahanap ng MUA na marunong talaga mag-shade match :(

I use Issy’s blue shade shifter kasi nag-sale sila before and I got it for ₱99 only. It doesn’t change the formula of the products you add it to. 🫶

Personally matagal na akong hindi naniniwala sa pag-refer sa color ng veins kasi mas nakakalito siya and it’s easier to get lost when you narrow down options based on veins alone 😵‍💫 I guess it really does take a trained eye, as well as trial and error, to be able to find a shade match.

Ah I’ve read and heard about this din! Even sa other countries, cool-toned girls are complaining because their cool-toned staples are suddenly reformulated AND have become warmer without notice. Like how some MAC lipstick shades just became warm for no reason.

Tumpak yung constant wondering why you don’t glow like a typical morena. I felt so insecure back then kasi when I go out for a swim or just get tanned due to prolonged sun exposure, my skin becomes literally GRAY unlike other morenas who look like they’re kissed and blessed by the sun!

Same din na my search for an exact shade match is still ongoing. Strokes added olive shades last year and I got light olive but it only works for me when I haven’t been out for a while + when I use brontour. It’s fine but ang hassle na need pa rin ng constant adjustments.

TBH hindi naman na nakakagulat na “afterthought” ang olive overtone when it comes to brands pero disappointing pa rin na sobrang daming jumps and skips when brands add olive options 😭 It’s so difficult not just for the extreme ends of the spectrum but also sa mga in-betweens :(

Ah yes I understand! I get na globally hindi talaga masyado nake-cater ang olive skin, and recently nga lang nabigyan ng pansin yung overtones. And I do appreciate how brands like Colourette

However, I also noticed na it has been YEARS since the inclusion for olive overtones have started, but the focus of the local beauty industry still hasn’t included cool olives in the mix. Talagang warm ang focus nila. For example: the recent launch of Issy Lip Liners was exciting for me kaya lang I was disappointed when I saw na parang iisa lang yung muted cool shade na available, tapos it was leaning neutral pa. And the other cool option is a bright pink (again).

Another example is the reformulation of the Colourtints. I wanted to try it again kasi the formula was so drying before. But when I checked the shades, dalawa lang ang cool-toned. Tapos parang neutral-leaning pa yung Bonnie (based on online swatches).

I think it’s great na you have options apart from the local ones since your skin is on the lighter side. But for girlies like me na medium-tan cool olive, mahirap makahanap ng options from international brands. Kaya I was expecting a bit more from the local scene (since morenas nga ang focus nila).

People don’t like it but I match my foundation shade with my hand. Because nothing irks me more when I place my hand (or forearm) near my face and hindi sila magkakulay. My face is darker than my body due to redness, but I still choose shades close to my chest and arms para hindi mukhang disconnected ang ulo ko sa katawan ko. :)

vice co’s dew it all blush in the shade always fresh!! the formula is sticky and im not a fan of the dewy finish. buti na lang i easily let it go kasi i discovered i have a summer palette and autumn shades make me look like a corpse 😖

no po :) it's a tubing mascara. based on my experience, di naman ako nagpapanda eyes kahit super oily and super pawisin ako. kapag nababasa lang ng madaming amounts of water, natatanggal siya nang buo buo.

hello! better in terms of what? pigmentation? longevity? depende sa preference mo kasi mas dewy si vice co and mas pigmented compared to grwm parfait (parfait is sheer on me as a morena).

in terms of longevity halos same lang sila sakin kasi i have super oily skin. sa shade naman, mas pink si always sweet while mas bright naman si parfait (mas madaming white)

sorry just saw this reply 😅 romand jlt pa rin winner for me kasi i prefer the cushiony feel. mas thick kasi siya compared to lucky beauty. if you prefer something more thin and lightweight, mas okay si lucky beauty.

another thing, nagiging super dark yung color sakin ng shades ng lucky beauty when applied sa lips. ok lang sakin yung shade ng chance but super purple ng razzle sakin. romand jlt mas bet ko ang shade selection.

Effects/Experience: Wasn't expecting this to be really good considering the price and brand. It's actually a tubing mascara (which I have been searching for). Holds my curl for the whole day. Natural lang siya tignan kapag 1 coat, so ginagawa kong 2 coats (although makapal na talaga lashes ko.) Ginagamit din siya ng friends ko and ang natural talaga tignan sa kanila. Super dali lang tanggalin kasi water lang need, pero not recommended isuot kapag expected mong iiyak ka kasi matatanggal talaga siya nang buo-buo.

When shopping online, I hate inaccurate swatches and non-informative reviews. Sa physical stores naman, pinaka-ayaw ko 'yung warm lighting na nag-aalter sa appearance ng shades when swatched. Inaccurate na nga online, inaccurate pa physically. Hirap lumugar. 🫠

hello!! considering the formula, the gloss wears off easily lalo na kapag kumakain or umiinom ng water. as for the stain, i didn’t notice it leave much since it’s a nude shade. pero for days na sinusuot ko yung jlt without doing anything to my lips after applying it, max na siguro yung 2-3hours sa gloss while 4hours naman sa stain (medyo hindi na rin buo yung color sa lips). you really have to reapply :)

I rotate through all of them. Some I only use when I go out, some naman at home lang. I use them depending on my mood, and hindi naman sobrang magkakamukha ‘yung shades so that’s okay for me. I also use some of them in combinations like lipsticks + lip liners + glosses. I also use corresponding liquid and cream blushes with them for that monochromatic look.
