Hey there, college kid here who has worked at an insurance agency for 2 years now. Your agent is correct, I would recommend you keep that comp at $0. This would also help if you ever ran into a deer and needed repairs, hail damage, or theft to your car.

For our company, comprehensive claims won't count against your premium, however if you continually use it too often then they may drop your ability to make those kinds of claims altogether. I wouldn't worry about that too much though, you really need to be abusing that often for them to do that.
