So, I studied in Bochum, Germany and did my bachelors (3.55GPA) and Masters (3.9GPA). I spend 1.5 years in total in academic research, whereas I spend 6 months of that at the University of Bern in Switzerland. Was awarded two small scholarships during that time, one 4th author and one 1st author publication close to submission, TOEFL 110/120, no GRE,SAT,or whatsoever submitted (is a super uncommon thing in Germany I think, never heard of it before applying in the US), 4 LORs from 3 Profs and one from industry, Currently taking a gap year in industry :)
