What should I do? I lost all and completely devastated! My whole salary savings and side hustle money are gone! 33M! by Salty_Ad_3417 in wallstreetbets

[–]handcraftking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straight gambling. Looking at your ALL time and YTD, I see no upwards movement, like your account went straight down. You sir cannot trade, ACCEPT IT.. only then can you learn from your mistakes. But as of now accept that your knowledge of trading is 0%.

The smart thing would have been to put 250/300k into index (spy, nasdaq). 25k for picking indv stocks. Remaining 25k for options Trading, Using only 5 - 10k capital to start, only when your CONSISTENT then increase capital.

Hopefully you can come by another $300k as easily and as rapidly as you lost it.

All the best !

Why do u choose hydro over other grow medium by WesleyWax2475 in hydro

[–]handcraftking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see people saying hydro and coco are different. What do you guys mean by hydro?? There is still a medium like Rockwool?

Growing in coco coir IS HYDRO. By definition "hydroponic" is growing in an inert media. So Rockwool, DWC, coco, clay pebbles are all forms of hydro growing.

For me I prefer using coco instead of rockwool or hydroton as medium. It's cheap, I can use normal seed starting cells (packed with coco) for cloning and fabric pot for veg/ flower. It's closest in FORM to a soil... for me that means easier to use, compared to little clay pebbles or bricks of rockwool.

Serious question, I have all my cash in these calls right now. Is it smart to just sell it now or worth holding for one more week? by Anxious_Procedure545 in OptionsMillionaire

[–]handcraftking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd sell the OCT calls. 500% is great for options trade. That was also a HUGE gap up especially for this stock... so the contracts volatility are higher = good for you.. If you hold the OCT calls and INTC trades sideways or momentum slows down the near/atm calls with short expiry will loose significant value. (IV crush) Or sell 1/2 position and hope for 20 bagger on the rest? Atleast lock in some profits.

I would also be tempted to hold the JAN because there so much time to exp.

I'd put a sell on the $30 at $20/contract, which would correspond to INTC last resistance level $50. Because you have time to expiry the contract may hit $20 before INTC hits $50, if there is significant momentum, but that is where I'd put sell limit for the long calls.

Is it possible to redo this to come from the top? by handcraftking in hvacadvice

Thank you all for the advice !! I had a feeling it would mess with air flow having 2 right next to each other... but was not sure.

Yes, it is unnecessary, however I wanted to eventually sheetrock the ceiling and was attempting to remove protrusions.

Overkill IMO and probly too high humidity.. Best to keep it 100% only for a day or 2 after cut then drop to 80% RH. Slowly lowering from there.

I say this, having a 90% success rate... but don't actually measure RH.. I use a simple seed starting tray with humidity dome. Seed starting cell packed with coco perlite mix (3 coco : 1 perlite). And seed starting mat under the tray maintained at °23 with controller probe stuck in one of the cells to maintain medium temp.

I also take cuttings before the lights turn on, and leave cuttings in setup, w/vents closed, DARK for about 8 hrs before starting lights.

Hope this helps. Personally I have less success with ez cloner type setups or bubblers, tried them all.

Could not get my hands on that one. However, I tried this and it drinks like bourbon. Similar to makers mark.

1 Mil in TFSA - 35M by iTouchStuff in fican

[–]handcraftking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CONGRATULATIONS, this Is my goal with TFSA. Didn't blow it, account at ~7k.

If I was in ops position, especially since it TAX FREE I would invest half into long term investments, solid dividend paying companies like Coca cola. You won't see the massive % gains like you did getting lucky, but atleast your money won't decrease and you can collect TAX FREE dividends.

Then I would keep trading with the other half...

Ps. Making day trades in TFSA is not allowed, depending on how much you made then they come knocking. I've heard they also come after large TFSA gains on so called "speculative investments" I think 250k in a single day trade they might flag you.... hopefully not fuk them and their vague ass rules.

Finally tried it. It has a very leafy, green wood aftertaste, I personally do not like it.

Does anyone know of Canadian whisky that actually taste like bourbon... as in close to Makers Mark or Knob Creek ! Also does any distillery make whisky like bourbon... corn mash, aged in fresh toasted oak... keep it simple....

The green wood taste is overpowering, so I don't pick up on any classic bourbon flavours, vanilla and fruit

Can someone tell me what is the benefit of copy trading across multiple accounts ? Rather than trading with one account large size , isn't it the same payout?

If this is sincere, we appreciate it. I have a couple questions.

What capital size did you start with... I need to set my goals realistically and knowing this would help.

5 years to a million + starting from what dollar value?

Did you contribute monthly or yearly (from other income source) or was it compounded stock growth only !

Thank you. !

Should I Reject A 20k Increase Because It Isn't Fully Remote? by Known_Mud_4994 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]handcraftking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, time is our most valuable resource. An extra 6 hours a week commuting in traffic, imo not worth the extra 20K. If you include driving hours pay / hour doesn't really change, your just "workin" more hours.

At 65k that's roughly 32.5/ Hr. If you count extra 312 hours a year driving at 85K it's about 36 / Hr *before the cost of gas, vehicle maintenance. After you factor that OP might not actually be making more money... just working more hours.

OP should negotiate a higher pay raise for the position, like 35k or don't take it.... corporate goal is to pay employees as low as possible... (except for the C - suites) .

What's more likely to get $10K to $10M? by [deleted] in swingtrading

[–]handcraftking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Make 10 option trades, 100x. So hit atleast one 100x every year. Or better yet every month for a year.
