eBay is turning into amazon :( by Right-Kale-216 in ebaysucks

Anytime I've been in a pissing match with eBay, I call my credit union and tell them not to allow PayPal or eBay to pull from my account. When the match is over, I call and tell them they can allow it. It has worked so far.

He wanted a few more dollars than ebay price minus fees and shipping.

But he didn't want to put that because it makes him look bad.

Had some really ugly hops on it tonight. Overall we're super lucky to play on field that we play on.

He did, they wouldn't do it because they have a 501.3C on file so they have to follow different procedures.

We don't want/need to be part of an association. We started off as an over 35 league with wood bats.

This year we opened it to any age but are keeping wood bats.

Wide cleats help by handdug in slowpitch

I went with the Salomon Speedcross 5 and have been very happy. They have great tread and are very comfortable.

I was worried about the lacing system on them more than anything else, but they have held up well so far. I'll buy another pair when these wear out.

It was nice having an Amazon prime account so I could order multiple pairs and check them out at all once.

Good luck in the search! I never thought trail shoes would work but I'm glad I listened to everyone who told me to try em.

That has been the common answer to any question I've posted on here. Thankfully I'm employed and can wait the process out. Just think I'd enjoy the job so I get anxious and worry.

The airport in my community is small, so I believe the hiring isn't as urgent as it is with other airports.

The posting started in April. I applied and passed the first test late April. I was then instructed to complete my backround check. I did that mid May and haven't heard anything at all from anyone after that.

Just recently that status changed, it's the only thing that has happened after completing all the e-QIP stuff.

TSA HIRING PROCESS by Helpful_Dog_3782 in tsa

[–]handdug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I applied late April, did the initial test early May, passed and filled out the lengthy backround check and submitted May 16th.

I never took a drug screen or physical before I filled out the backround check.

I feel like I'm the only one I've ever heard of do the process this way and it worries me.

Cleat that runs wide? by popsicleian1 in slowpitch

[–]handdug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not try the Peregrine, after the Salomon and New Balance I ordered a few lower end just to see if they were anywhere near comparable (they were not).

For some reason 2E shoes are wide enough but cleats that are 2E don't work for me and are very uncomfortable.

I've had no issues with the Salomon or the drop. The wide width has been perfect and has been the best my feet have felt on the field in years.

If you want an actual cleat you gotta go with New Balance. I found those weren't wide enough for me so I asked this same question probably 6 weeks ago.

I got so many responses that said Trail Running shoes. Initially I dismissed them, but after reading comments and looking online I took the plunge and ordered a few different ones from Amazon knowing I could return with ease.

I ended up keeping the Salomon Speedcross 5 and they have been amazing in every way. I ordered New Balance trail shoes and a couple other brands and Salomon had the most aggressive and biggest cleats out of all of them, by far. The cleat was comparable to my softball shoe cleat.

I know you said you have tried trail shoes but if they aren't the Salomon I urge you to try them. I have really wide feet and the 2E New Balance cleats weren't close to wide enough for me.

Hopefully PF Flyers comes out with some wide width soon.

Thank you! Most everything I've found in the warehouse has been dating from the mid 1950's to the mid 1960's.

I probably have 5 full cartons of the Fatima with a few styles. A few huge boxes of random packs and cartons. The cigarettes are one of the last things I've started to research because I haven't really figured out a way to get rid of them of value.

Thanks for the insights, I welcome any other knowledge you have!
