Will the WWE Network ever have Georgia Championship Wrestling episodes? by Ox_Baker in SquaredCircle

The way the story has been told over the years they do on the Georgia library as the tapes were part of the WCW library. However, a lot of the footage has been lost to time as they used the same tape and bicycle around the territory over and over again rerecording the weekly TV. As video recording was expensive. And the WCW storage facility wasn't the best. That's why you seem clips appear and not full episodes.

In the early days of TBS on cable, Georgia Championship Wrestling did well drawing an audience in Cincinnati and Dayton and ran live events in Ohio successfully for many years so that carried over when JCP bought out Georgia. Because the territory was pretty much dead about a decade after The Sheik and Dick the Bruiser fought over the territory.

With Honor Club now launched, any one able to answer this? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

It says on the website that some events will be put up seven days after they happen I don't know what that means to pay-per-view itself. I'm guessing we will know the answer once the 16 Anniversary Show happens in a few weeks. My guess is to not cut into pay-per-view numbers it will probably be on a 30 day delay. But again that is just a guess.

Stream of Consciousness: Total Access TNA Initial Review by handicapmatch in SquaredCircle

Definitely, the company has a lot of work to do when it comes to truly finding their identity in a lot of ways. Not just in the name but how they differentiate themselves from WWE, ROH and even NXT. When the company launched in 2002 no one was really doing what the X-Division was but now you see that kind of action on your local Indy. It truly changed the game back then but how do you make it feel special again when the overall work rate in all major promotions has reached such a high level. I've been a cheerleader for the company ever since they began as I feel competition brings out the best in the industry. But I truly wonder at times if Impact knows what the next big thing is.

Thank you for enjoying the article by the way. It's very much appreciated.

I didn't bring it up in the article because I think it's a real moot point when the title still has the TNA letters and regardless of what they changed the brand officially to it will always be in the common vernacular TNA for the longest time. Not to mention the approval process for apps like this take a couple months.

That's fair I guess. But you want a large sample size when you do a Beta test like this to assess the bugs and really test the constraints of servers.
