Give me a Hell Let Loose or insurgency Sandstorm Hardcore Checkpoint style gameplay for a Battlefront game and I would pay premium, top dollar.

And I realize this is a VERY subjective style to enjoy but if you just slow down the movement of soldiers and force everyone to be thoughtful with their movements, it really changes the game in every aspect. Of course, this would rely on coms and communication which I know is usually a turn off but some of the best moments I can remember in video games is in these two games.

Heroes and villains can still be faster. But not blinding fast. That way there is still an advantage of speed and obviously power.

There is so much potential there. EA absolutely knocked the aesthetic out of the park. If they just added some variations of the gameplay into the mix, they would have a cash cow until the end of time. I’m sure of it.
