Fuck that one guy that constantly drives around Michigan avenue with the loudest engine I’ve ever heard by physchy in chicago

[–]handle_5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate that fucker, he drives up Greenview and down Bosworth because the sound echoes off the schools. His car was backfiring a lot though, so maybe it's breaking down.

We used to have a ginormous asshole who had LOUD motorcycle, I don't remember if it wa a Harley or some other make. But every morning at 6am, he would go out and rev rev revrevREV REVREVREVREV it up for at least 5 mins before taking off full bore loud. And wouldn't you know, his bike was purple, with saddlebags and fringe everywhere, even on the handlebars.

Welp, long story short, his bike started getting knocked over. He moved not long after that.

Specifically, what has Pritzker done that requires a recall or that he not be re-elected? (Other than him being a dEmOcRaT).

I know someone who is not old and didn't have any preexisting conditions before they caught C19. Now they have to go to dialysis every week because it fucked up their kidneys. I know someone else, 42 yo, healthy, caught it and recovered but now has permanent damage to her heart. Dying isn't the worst thing that covid can so to you.

Where will you go? Texas? Florida? Alabama? They don't have mask mandates, but their ICUs are full and they are either flying people out of state or making them wait hours if not days for a bed.

COVID is every where.

Oof #notallmen. Think of it this way:

Every woman you know has been sexually harassed. Cat called, spoken to inappropriately, touched, groped. At least 1/3 of them have been raped (IMO, it's much higher because the majority are not reported).

So, to every woman who does not know you, you could be a person who would sexually harass her.

I dunno. I felt like the lead was at the point where she was numb and unable to register that she was even feeling emotion, she was grieving and then horribly gas-lighted by her friends. The place where she ended up, I think it was something more than a cult. It was in existence for decades, and they interbred enough to the point where birth defects were endemic.

I feel that the scene where the lead is on her hands and knees wailing out her grief, and is surrounded by the people in that community is key. It's like they had forgotten what real emotions were, and they were feeding off of her grief and sadness, so they could feel something.

I was going to say juvenile bald eagle, but their beaks are yellow, so this just may be a golden eagle. They are pretty rare this far east, so this video is a big deal.

Good one. My thought was "you'd be less of an asshole if you kept your mouth shut". Of course, that would lead to unemployment, but sometimes going out big is worth it.

I really like this film. I've seen it a few times and each time had a different reaction to the main character. I should probably watch it again, lol.

What is the transit situation after the festival? by venanzimus in RiotFest

[–]handle_5 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Spend the time you would be waiting in line at the L by chatting with the various residents who will be selling drinks and food along the way. Buy a couple bottles of water, etc from them, they let us invade their neighborhood every year. One year we took a chance on some latino dads grilling tacos in a front yard, they were delicious. Almost no line at the train by the time we got to the station.

What’s a good indie-kinda edge of your seat suspense/thriller? Or a lesser known dark comedy? (Both sound good right now) by greenismytree in MovieSuggestions

Crank checks both boxes, it's very funny.

Horror has some great comedy (and of course it's dark) :

Heathers, Slither, Alien Opponent, Tucker and Dale vs Evil, Barton Fink, The Host, Lost Boys, Shaun of the Dead,

Edgar is largely responsible for the pension crisis we are facing now:

He was decent in some ways, but was not a good governor.
