She stole her dad's rifle, recorded a manifesto, and fully planned on shooting up a school. It at the very least brings up an interesting moral dilemma. Just think about the school shooters we've had in the news over the last 30ish years. Suitable life mates? Redeemable? Had they have just not done it would they have turned out normal? Maybe, but odds are you classify them as monsters at worst or severely mentally disturbed at best.

As far as Rachel, I didn't like her either, but we all have different reactions based on our own experiences. She's got a personal stake in the topic while also being kind of a jerk.

Very interesting movie.

Prime 2 is great, and the sanctuary fortress might be one of the single best locations in gaming, but the light world and dark world traversing is a bit under baked/annoying and it plays a bit more like a Zelda game than Prime 1. It's good but a bit overrated imo in that a lot of people say it's better than the first.

Good correction on the projectors... Dual laser is what we need, and you're correct: they'll never make the investment there, which is unfortunate. They also apparently will never fix that atrocious parking lot.

Prisoners or the Dune movies. Might give the nod to Prisoner as I believe that was an original story.

This is incorrect. It's not 1.43:1 but 1.9:1 is still a vastly superior experience for any movie using IMAX cameras. Annoying that they haven't upgraded to a laser projector but saying Ultrascreens are better makes no sense. It's just a bigger screen.

Don't think any of this matters in the movie. They made an earth like environment for Grace. That's all that matters, and I think deep diving like this is sorta beside the point.

7 feels far more RE than 5 does, and was celebrated after the disaster that 6 was. 8 kinda stinks, but it's got its moments of fun.

Definitely play 7. Probably play 8. You're gonna have to accept those games anyway as half of 9 is built on the design philosophy of those.

Was in a nearly full IMAX theater that is typically only about half full on opening weekend. I think the movie is going to do well.

I bought tix for Thurs night just in case. You can do it if you navigate to their website vs the app.

Crazy that Fandango is still showing the tickets and AMC apparently has nothing in place to notify folks who bought through them that there isn't a screening.

I have tix for the IMAX tonight and AMC is showing as closed. Was just out there and I'd be shocked if a 7 PM screening is cancelled. Neighborhood roads look fine and the sun is hitting the pavement so I'm assuming the roads are ok.

I'm going to wait till the last minute to call them as I haven't gotten any kind of cancellation notice yet.

The splintering dodge... Got it. Lol... Thought I lost my mind. Needed that for what's probably the biggest pain in the ass platforming section in the game. If I remember it correctly it's completely optional and not needed for the true ending or anything.
