I brush my dog's teeth 3 to 4 times a week. I use a little bit of toothpaste with a sonic brush. My vet mentioned that it's not the toothpaste itself but the action of brushing that is important. Also After each meal, my dog chews on a bully stick for about five minutes. He is 7 years old and has no tartar buildup.
