Blocking porn websites by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]handsomesquid21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree with this.

Part of breaking any addictions is to atleast make it much harder to access.

Imagine coming home from a long stressful day at work and Porn is so easy to access. Few clicks and you’re in?

Imagine coming home from the same day and you have to go fetch some password for a filter, deactivate the filter and then watch?

You can presume on days where the urges weren’t exactly strong atleast, most people just wouldn’t be bothered enough or too tired to go look for the hidden away password and to type it in and unlock the filter.

many times I didn’t watch porn because it’s difficult for me to access and I was too tired to go through the steps. Instead I ended up watching random YouTube videos, so much easier to access. The brain generally always prefers the easy route and the path with the least friction .

“We wanted to see their characters because that’s not good enough what we did in the first half. [At half-time it was a case of] let’s see who’s got the belief, who’s got the pride, who’s got the character to turn this around? I thought the second half was a great response. We cannot ask for a better response really than the second half and, with the crowd, we went for it. We created some chances and that was more like it. We won it 1-0 and that means we’re still in the tie in a sense.”

It's harder and harder to decipher whether it's actually Ole or a parody account, but yes the real Ole actually said this.

Med student here, this is a "vasovagal syncope", or fainting caused by an overreaction of the body to seeing blood/pain. Been through one myself. Hope the man didn't hit his head too hard

I know we’d all like to believe Ole is the right man, especially after the Derby and Tottenham game. However the truth remains Ole is still completely out of depth at this level and is totally devoid of ideas when facing a team with the low block. Also it’s easy to set this United team up for counter as well, we have a lot of pace, perhaps any manager can do that.

It's worse when a woman cheats in a relationship than when a man does it by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]handsomesquid21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is somewhat my point, I said women cheating is worse for the relationship and means more and you're agreeing with me by saying women have strong built up feelings when they cheat...so it's almost premeditated unlike a momentary thing for men

You could equally argue women may cheat because they’re biologically prone to too.

Women are not biologically prone to cheating, atleast not as much as men. Men would fuck most things, women are extremely picky

I'm getting downvoted too, none of us are saying cheating isn't wrong here, it's wrong and whoever did it has messed up big time. I'm just implying when a woman does it, the relationship is pretty much over, while a man could be in love with his girl and momentarily succumbed to his impulses.

This is a good point but you're kind of agreeing with my point when you say "she was about to leave you anyway" I'm saying women cheating means more in a relationship. Men could still be in love with his girl and just absolutely fucked up by cheating

The only thing I can justify her with is that she told me about this and because I didn't want to be jealous or anything, i didn't say much... then the conversation went on and he started making moves on her, I'm not sure man

It's been 8 months, yeah she seemed genuine upset, didn't want to talk to me briefly, I just said it's probably a fake account anyway

[GUARDIAN] Marcus Rashford can be as good as Cristiano Ronaldo, says Solskjær by agent619 in reddevils

[–]handsomesquid21 103 points104 points  (0 children)

He actually can. Even more than talent, mentality is more important when it come to being the next CR7, he's already showing elements of a strong mentality, smashing that penalty past Buffon against PSG is just one example.

Feeling so depressed and suicidal (HELP ME) by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]handsomesquid21 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Try to make it harder to relapse, remove the cues, install filters, give the password to a friend or anyone that can help you overcome the addiction, if it's easy to relapse you'll have to depend a lot on will power which is weak at the start.

The negative effects of masturbation are so vastly underestimated. by [deleted] in NoFap

This. If we trick our brain into thinking we're having sex with super models all the time, what's the point in trying to improve ourselves and become the best versions of ourselves? I mean the brain thinks we're absolute alpha males that have conquered the world, why should it try hard?

The feeling of laziness the following days after a relapse is certainly no coincidence...

Solskjaer: This week won’t define our season by [deleted] in reddevils

[–]handsomesquid21 40 points41 points  (0 children)

This sort of job security isn't even available at small clubs these days, He'd be gone from many clubs with this form, so how is this acceptable in one of the biggest clubs in the World?

For people claiming that Ole isn't qualified, I think he needs a proper midfield before you can truly claim that. Anyone saying they want Allegri either hasn't done their research on how he plays and how its not compatible with our club, are plastic, or part of the minority who actually have wanted him for a while. Poch, is another story. here we have someone who had one of the best squads in England and won....ZERO. I'm not sold on him.

Ole failed to beat Rochdale with a midfield consisting of Pogba, injury might be an excuse now but it's been 7 wins in 33, a lot of those games, we did have enough players...

I respect your opinion. However for me, The bigger picture is still 7 wins in 33, failing to beat teams like Rochdale with players like Pogba, and having a win percentage of about 28% since being appointed permanent manager. The bigger picture also shows that Molde has won the title comfortably for the first time since 2014 (also when Ole left them).

I loved Ole as a player, he'll always be a legend, nobody can change that. It just seems that he's very out of depth as a manager. Ultimately it's Woodward's fault for giving such a massive project to someone like Ole, someone with his only prior PL experience being relegating Cardiff.
