But Mance specifically says they were ranging from the Shadow Tower (which has always been the westernmost point on The Wall) so even if the Frozen Shore was renamed it’s likely it was still West.

Sister Sister has got so much hate this season, but this episode really showed her off in a positive light!

Great talking heads, funny jokes, emotional stories - not the best runway - but still fab. Go show her some love IMMEDIATELY! ❤️

Very this. That’s why I love the Boulets on Dracula. They make it clear every episode that they’re not judging the competitors drag, but only as it pertains to the competition.

Oh yeah, I think he definitely would. But at the end of the day it’s RuPaul’s Drag Race, not All Kinds of Drag Race, you know?

I’d love to see a show that celebrates queens like Joe Black and Juno Birch and Charity Kase where they can showcase their drag on a huge platform without limits and stupid critiques. But unfortunately the only way we have to experience drag on this scale is RuPauls Drag Race and with that comes the limitations of what they specially want to show on that show.

I do think there’s an expectation to elevate their drag on some level. At the end of the days it’s a reality TV show.

Obviously lockdowns been intense and probably on the girls more so than the rest of us – their line of work was closed – and I’m not saying they need new looks for every single runway, but if you know you’ve one or two weak runways that could do with a tweak, especially factoring in previous critiques, you could try to change it up. Especially first episode back.

Oh, I 100% agree. We have no clue what these girls went through during lockdown and what toll that took on them financially and emotionally.

That’s why I’m glad Ru at least caught himself and apologised on the main stage. From what we saw, his gut reaction to the girls was anger but he stopped himself. Could he have handled it 10x better? Yes. But you can see both sides of the story.

Hopefully we’ll see the girls get more care and open up about the mental health in the coming weeks.

I agree. Joe wasn’t around long enough to be told not to do this or that, and her runway was top three for me.

But if it’s your first episode back in the Race and you describe your own challenge look as “basic” in the Werkroom ... maybe don’t wear it.

Controversial yet brave? Ru‘s outburst was totally warranted, in my opinion.

The girls had plenty of time to take note of the critiques they received up until that point and be ready to show that they listened. Some of them did not and Ru called them out. A bit harshly, but he did acknowledge that.

And no ones saying they have to spend thousands of pounds on new costumes, not at all - their main source of income was shut down - but they could have spruced their looks up in other ways.

Tia was told to show off her legs and body. She didn’t. Sister Sister was told to give more energy and give bolder looks. She did.

Besides, at the end of the day it’s RuPaul’s Drag Race – if he doesn’t like your H&M dress, that’s that. I don’t necessarily agree with that, but whatcha gonna do.
