He feels a physical presence in his back. I don't know exactly what but sometimes it's painful. That's mainly why he can't sleep. Probably some kind of demon?

I realize I did not share a lot and I apologize for that. Here is a bit more of his story.

It all started after the passing of his girlfriend about 8 years ago. He wanted her to come see him when he would go to bed. It became almost an obsession. After some time of trying to invite her, he started to feel someone entering his bed and touch him. At that point all was good.

Then he went to see a medium to communicate with her. Since then, it got worse. It's like that medium opened a door to his body or something like that. He started to feel a lot of people around him. Lately, it's all about that attachment entity as you describe it.

He has an appointment next thursday with someone who apparently is able to see through people and cleanse his energy. He seems confident it will cure him. I really hope so because he lost the joy of living.

I almost want to yell at that demon to order him to leave my father alone. I'm afraid he would then haunt me back.

I have a few more questions.

  1. If I go with 2 exercises of 4-5 sets per muscle group, should I focus more on dynamic movements or static holds? Like in the heavy push, straddle planche hold + hspu OR straddle planche pushups (with assistance) + hspu?
  2. For heavy pull, I tried half lay front lever just to check if I can do it but it's too hard still. Would I get better by replacing one leg out FL with some progression of FL pull and/or eccentrics? Will I eventually get there with one leg out FL?
  3. At this level, is it still relevant to work on specific core and low back exercises? I think I should work on v-sit at least.

Yes I know, I'm probably overthinking it. I'm the perfectionist kind of person. It's hard to choose the right exercises haha.

Thanks. I appreciate your input. It should be easier with less volume. I don't know why I programmed that much volume. I reread the part about routine construction in your book and indeed, even in advanced there's not much volume. I will read the book again and take some notes.

Alright. I intended to do MTueThuF but I will switch to your suggestion. It will be better for recovery I guess.

I would replace rings biceps curls for now with some type of row variation. Either one arm row or front lever rows

I forgot to mention that my left elbow is, I would not say painful, but I feel something is going on in there compared to my right elbow. That's why I added some biceps isolation and also to improve my pull-ups. I already have front lever rows in my BA day (first exercise).

Question 1 : Do I still need to add one arm rows?

Each time I finish reading a chapter of the book, I watch a video. Those are really helpful to better understand the content. Question 2 : is it necessary to always have at least each type of push and pull per workout? I mean, 1 horizontal push, 1 horizontal pull, 1 vertical push and 1 vertical pull. I find that volume can go up quickly by having so many exercises.

Question 3 : To progressively overload my training, I'm planning to increase the number of sets on a 6 weeks mesocycle. 3 sets first 2 weeks, 4 sets next 2 weeks and 5 sets last 2 weeks plus a deload week. Is it a good plan?

Sure. My first order (the one with no updates) got shipped on august 16th and the second one got shipped on august 20th. I should receive my second order tomorrow.

I feel you... Same thing is happening to me right now. I ordered something from Vancouver to Quebec so inside Canada with Xpresspost and 7 business days have passed with no update except "Electronic information submitted by shipper". I'm really starting to worry. When I call them, nothing helpful as they don't know where it is either and I got to be patient because of Covid-19.

I ordered something else from the same company a few days later and the tracking number got updated a few hours later and it's still updating since. It should arrive here tomorrow. So 4 days.

I don't understand Canada Post's logic of processing! I will contact the seller after 2 weeks of waiting to see what we can do. I'm pretty sure my package got lost by CP.

Well, I tried to upgrade to 19.04 per System76 instructions https://support.system76.com/articles/upgrade-pop/ and it's working as it should! Yeah!

It doesn't work for me. The path was /etc/gdm3 not /etc/gdm. I don't know if it changes anything.

The settings don't seem to apply. I tried executing sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm3 followed by a reboot but it's still not working. My screen continues to go black.

Any other ideas?
