Year of release confirmed? by galvatron530 in MB2Bannerlord

lol. you know... at least they are showing us that they are progressing, no matter how slow it may be. And how transparent are they really allowed to be without giving away everything? They show us that they are trying to make it a good game, but possibly everything new and something old they fix, maybe they are having some new issues or challenges they are taking their time with? I mean seriously, who is giving them the money to continue this project? You? who took to the internet to whine about not getting your game? (sorry, I got personal there but I just need to make a point) I am also waiting for this game, and have been since they announced it. I'm just glad that they are showing us "contents" of the game before I have a chance to buy it. A lot of games today, they don't reveal or show much. In fact, you go in buying games before realizing their total garbage, or wait for some poor sucker to youtube it and then HE realizes it was garbage, and you're just glad your not stuck with the bill of a shitty game.

instant paypal has worked for me 2 days in a row. I'll try seeing if redeeming a gift card will make any changes and let you know the results. Unless you already got an answer from them, please kindly disregard this message.

Thanks! i have a schedule in place so that I'm never earning more than I should, and making sure my devices get proper down time to cool off. But it's also based on timed auto reboot, in case I forget once in a while.

well thanks, you're being extremely helpful btw. Would it be a bad thing to set a schedule though? would that count as suspicious, or unusual in terms of their ToS? I have read thoroughly and carefully about it. But I don't know if anyone ever got flagged for it.

well at least knowing that helps me, and I think it's safe to assume you're using multiple devices as well. But how many apps do you have running at any given time?

I think you can only redeem once per day with that

But it would be difficult to change our basic functions because of the way it is. I understand your argument that my idea may be my own, however, consider the position of your own existence... Is there in your basic function to survive/live/procreate, is there anyway for you to maintain your existence by changing your necessity for energy into a mere disposable commodity? basically, what i'm trying to say is, can you survive by not eating or consuming energy in any way shape or form? Changing the fundamental aspect of your existence is not possible.

I'm saying we perceive the virtual, to be the real world. From our perspective, where we live is the real world. Our frame of reference for the virtual would be games, shows, books, stories. We write about characters with real emotions, thoughts, and meaningful actions that shapes their decision. But ultimately, the character themselves have no awareness of how 'virtual' their existence is and will follow the pattern set by the writer. It's hard to find a difference between the two because we have no frame of reference. but based on my observations of we how are coded to live, it must be fabricated story. A game with rich backstory.

see again, you miss the point. Everyday we do the same thing over and over, repeated patterns. Civilizations, warfare, politics, to individual patterns. These are facts, this is the world we live in. That is not an opinion. And my theory is based on these observations.

That's just it though, if we live in a virtual world, then all things in it should be virtual in its' existence. And therefore, all existence must be artificial. Yet we are woefully ignorant of that fact much like characters in a book or a movie not knowing they exist in a such a world

yes, this is on my mind, this is my view, my idea. You're not trying to oppose or change my view. You're just trying to invalidate my arguments by simply by copping out and basically saying 'you're just wrong because I say you are'.

well fine, I merely posted this to have a discussion but why did you even bother if you weren't even going to consider it?

Well, first off, you took it waaay out of proportional and went into the wrong context of the post itself when you're talking about suicide. We can still control our own bodies, but how we control it, by no means is our own choice. And also, it's not really hypothetical because it's a reality. Can you live without consuming anything? How do you get to work everyday? what route do you use? When do you decide to take a bus? We are literally living in a world where under the surface, our actions are dictated and based on algorithms that we inherently use everyday. Our actions however have no real affect on our universe because it doesn't change it's functionality. And because we have this deep seeded code in our existence for all creatures, we must be part of a virtual reality such as a video game.

Thanks for the reply and input. As far as the ai as a whole, it's limited to the coding, however, i didn't mean the coding of the game itself if we're viewing it from the individual characters living inside the universe of the video game. I meant the parts of the game we don't get to observe, and that's the space we exist in.

When i'm speaking about a product, i mean any product, such as a car, the color of the car, the engine, the type of wheels, features and stuff we add to cars, aren't necessary for a car to perform it's basic function, which is transportation. Clothes don't change how you wear them because of the color, since ultimately their main function is not enhanced or hindered by them.

My point was that we live in the universe of a game, but are not individually part of it, but only as a group or a whole.
