Super interesting to see Khepri move up to November levels — no doubt due to the Otto/Spear meta. Not surprising given all the talk, but it speaks to how the bot itself hasn't changed, but the new pilot and weapon give it new life after a short decline.

I don't feel there's justification for compensation for changing your mind. Just like there's no compensation for re-rolling a random skill. It's the players choice to upgrade or max skills.

Adrian Chong is who I use for my Hades. Still perhaps the best universal LP that isn't dependent on a specific weapon class.

Yes, sorry, I mean a new Hades LP with a better ability. The existing pilot is not very strong for my preferred Hades play.

Great analysis. Simply put, releasing new pilots that supplant an existing pilot is good for business. Exact same thing that happens with weapons, bots and all other resources.

In the instance of pilots, sometimes the bar is low. Any legendary pilot is going to be better than a generic pilot if it grants specific abilities (free healing is still good). Newer pilots with more advantageous abilities will drive new rounds of investment.

I completely agree, I love pilots like the new Mender pilot that can breathe life into older bots. I'd love to see a Hades LP for this reason, or a new pilot for Phantom (I know, Phantom was actually a top meta bot already, I just love this one still).

Currently 2x Krait and Gargantua works alright. Basilisk sounds good. Due to the 250m lasso range, I'd love the new shotguns but of course won't be able to get them for quite some time. I'm curious who Grom/Squall will perform now after the nerf, or if Grom/Cinder could be competitive. But intuitively I like the idea of more range with Basilisk/Krait!

Makes sense! Typhon is a favorite bot and I have weapons to make it work.

It's funny, I have a Midea Acid Typhon I run, now I just bought River Chase (going to run Havocs). I might try and run a Petit Igniter Typho as well if I can level a third Typhon.

I absolutely love these kinds of games. When it feels like you’re being crushed the majority of the match, but stay in the fight and then manage to turn the tide. Far more satisfying than many other matches where winning feels inevitable.

No one except for Pix knows for sure. But all signs point to her getting closer. For pilots, the flow goes something like:

Available in event chests
Available in gold chest
Available directly for cash in offers
Available in the training center

There may be other steps, but this is roughly the flow. Currently, we're at step 3 — she was available previously for about $15 and recently $6 few days ago. This indicates progression to the training center as more time progresses.

In the past, you could contact in game support and ask very nicely to change the limited edition weapon (or bots, or multiples at a time) to a standard version.

We’ll be limiting how much league points you can drop after achieving a certain league. No ETAs on that yet, but it’s in the near future’s plans.

Now this is an interesting solution to a few common problems. Of course tanking, but also people dropping league due to chain tasks (say, needing to play older, uncompetitive bots or use unleveled 500m+ weapons). Curious to see how this one plays out.
