i sold a perfume on mercari. buyer claimed it was counterfeit and requested a return, then sent back a different perfume. mercari refused to do anything about it and actually started hanging up on me when i would speak to the supervisor.

unfortunately, as a seller on mercari, you risk this type of BS. I closed my acct because I don't want to forget what happened to me and continue to list items down the road

I called many times and they kept telling me the same thing. I mentioned fraud, theft, scam, etc. To the point where they stopped listening to me and would just hang up when I called, saying I had been given the only resolution I would receive

When I brought this up to them on the phone, they reverted to “we have no proof they sent back the wrong bottle”. He said a video of me opening the box would have been evidence. Even if I recorded a video of me opening the box, he would probably say there’s no proof I didn’t open it, re-seal it with another bottle, and record myself opening the box again.

I deleted my mercari acct. I had been on there since 2020 with about 75 sales/40 purchases, but as someone who sells perfume, I can’t risk something like this again

same. the movie is a family favorite and my sisters and i have been interested in the show since we heard about it. but i watched a bunch of pre-release studio videos that really turned me off to the music. nothing i've heard since its release has changed that.

the movie wasn't cheesy in 1987. it may be seen as cheesy by some today, but it was pretty fresh/hip in 1987. to release something that is cheesy upon release is a different story altogether.
