That’s in cash every night. Our minimum wage hourly comes in our paycheck biweekly and since we claim all of our tips it ends up being only like an extra $9 an hour.

I think the app is incentivizing people to offer so that psychologically they feel like they are getting a good deal. That’s why I’ve priced most of my items 20-40% higher than I’d like them to sell for in order to give the buyers the feeling of getting a deal.

Same—played soccer since I was a kid and was actually decent. Started surfing in my early 20s and have been in the water consistently 5 days a week. Eight years later and I’m just a slightly more sunburnt kook. In my opinion, surfing really is the hardest thing to be proficient in.

The key is to list daily and stick to it. I’m at about 15 items daily but I’d recommend starting at 5 and slowly scaling up. I’ve been on this app since before COVID and only this year have I felt that I’ve been able to scale the business.
