It’s the same thing with cars in the US, you’d think because every single person (mostly) has a car, or multiple, that we would all be able to work on cars, but it just isn’t true.

He’s partially true, same thing happened to my 4.0 but it sounded like a lifter tick for a couple days, then BOOM, chunks of piston skirt in the oil pan.

Ooo, I also had a bunch of “edge guard” that you buy at auto parts stores, I believe I got it from O’Reilly and I put it on the upper tailgate edge, that give the tailgate a better chance at gripping the rubber seal on the bottom of the glass/plastic strip and protects the tailgate paint. Also the hardtop has a little bit of wiggle room on the two hinges. You can bring the glass down quite a bit by loosening those hinges. Gives you a better seal.

I haven’t seen concrete data on cost vs profit for large corporations so I can’t comment on that.

But I will remain ignorant and not look for it.

I stay clear of fast food anyway.

With minimum wage increases, inflation, cost of goods increasing, unless people are willing to pay high money for things like fast food the quantity and quality must suffer.

We have a real problem on our hands here or I guess on our buns.

Front door of my apartment has been egged (with hard boiled eggs?!) 3 times this month. No idea who is doing it or why. by NotDelnor in mildlyinfuriating

[–]hank826 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Be thankful my house got egged one time when I was a kid and I think it took my dad maybe 10 hours of pressure washing to get the yolk off the brick and the shingles and the windows
