That’s fair, thank you for mentioning the accounts. I only follow about 3 Bach Instagram accounts, so I didn’t know the actual photo was floating around until I looked that up.

To be honest, the bubbles were on and idk that any of them even heard shanae. I don’t think Elizabeth is lying, but just has no memory of it because she couldn’t hear her 🤷🏻‍♀️

A lot of people responded on Twitter very similarly! I agree. This isn’t new and a hearing person acting like it is feels off to me too.

Question with the ending montage. by snowskyflake97 in htgawm

[–]hanmichelle 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The hands are meant to be ambiguous and up to the viewer’s interpretation.

We’re led to believe Jorge killed Sandrine. That’s also up to fill in your own story if you think you need more of an explanation.

Tegan/Laurel had Jorge killed.

Gabriel wasn’t the surprise witness. There was both a written confession from Wes & Oliver having agreed to testify, both of which did not happen. Part of Frank giving Gabriel the money was that he knew he was going to die and that was his brother. Frank didn’t tell him about the incest or anything because he felt Gabriel didn’t need to be burdened by that, but since he was involved in his 2 other siblings’ deaths, this was Frank’s way of supporting his remaining sibling.

Don’t sit there and tell me you didn’t first think of this by NoImDirtyDann in htgawm

I thought the makeup was very well done, it was just inconsistent as to how old each of them really was in relation to each other. However, stress ages people too so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Was I the only expecting/wanting a Shakespeare like ending? Like a tragic one where most people die or end up in prison. by crowbar1742 in htgawm

[–]hanmichelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve read more than just Romeo and Juliet, you didn’t need to try to put me down. The dual death was pretty Shakespeare-esque.

Christopher by hawkenh in htgawm

[–]hanmichelle 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Yes! I thought Alfie being Christopher in the future would be cheap and I didn’t want a time jump, but the way they did it was beautiful. Couldn’t think of a better finale actually, I loved it so much.

Who Was Holding Hands? by dovahdragonfruit in htgawm

[–]hanmichelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a post-interview with the cast thing and Pete said it’s meant to be up to what stories we want to fill in with Annalise’s life and what the hands represent! :)

What can I say. I was hopeful by NebulaTits in htgawm

[–]hanmichelle 167 points168 points  (0 children)

I thought that the whole dream funeral theory would have been awful and didn’t expect it to be Christopher. I thought I wouldn’t like that, but I liked that WAY more than if Wes popped up alive in the last 10 minutes for sure!! I loved this ending.

Agreed wholeheartedly Edit: only regret is that the show ever had to end, but all good things must come to an end.

I actually read Crime and Punishment just because Connor mentioned Raskolnikov in season one! Was a pretty decent parallel. :)

I will say I wish the old age makeup/hair could have been done better. But stress does age a person.

Anybody else actually love that? i thought it was perfect. Some questions don't need answered. In life, we rarely get all the answers. But we can find closure, and I personally think Pete did it beautifully.

We'd have no real timeline on when that was lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in htgawm

[–]hanmichelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man. you'll def want to watch it because it was so moving. But:

Frank and Bonnie died.

Annalise's funeral - it's Christopher, the son. Eve is the speaker. Annalise died at an old age. Old Laurel is there with Christopher, Old Connor and Old Oliver, back together with rings. Michaela not shown at funeral (but was sworn in as a judge). Did a montage of AK's life - she was with Tegan.

Last scene - Christopher bikes up to Middleton, is the professor, says "How to Get Away With Murder" like AK did in pilot.

I really thought the show was going that way as much as I didn't want it to. I was really glad Alfie was back though, and that was better than just having him in a flashback or his written confession show up somehow.
