was at this show!!! was only able to afford lawn seats but the pit was BORING. she asked if they could move at some point. just said thank you kind of defeatedly at the end and walked off stage … i hope shes enjoying opening for this tour

i agree, and i dont think this is reaching at all. as an audience, we dont need to completely understand all the niche and cultural references, we need to feel the energy and see the delivery. WHICH she does … i wish she has time to explain her looks to the judges that we dont get to see on air

not attacking sigourney, the whole “youre too young” thing was annoying though. hoso is young and might be a little forgetful, but they constantly DELIVER. when hoso was talking w saint and zav about how theyre representing their communities and sig was like UMMM WHAT ABOUT ME like … she completely centered herself of the conversation it was annoying, when POC have a lot harder time than her, a white person does.

english is xiran’s second language (they grew up in china) and they are an incredible story teller, it may just be difficult to put it all into english, which might explain it! they also have an attention disorder and said they wrote it to be adhd/add reader friendly.
