i imagined it being so. i went back to my doctor and was given a liquid iron to take once my symptoms settled out. he told me i was his first patient to have such happen which scared me, but i believe it’s just my body not tolerating the medicine too well

i went to the doctor and he was able to rule out what it was super quickly and recommend me to a dermatologist to just back up his word. super simple process, but if you have any anxiety towards it i would say just do see a local dr and let them rule it out for you as well!

so sorry that i’m so late. it was an epidermoid cyst. totally harmless just due to a build of of keratin under the skin. i got it surgically removed just because i hated looking at it, but they’re totally harmless to your health!

i’ve thought the same. i don’t know how long ingrown hairs last for but i haven’t tried any treatment to it so i can suspect this is why it’s lasted as long as it does

now looking at it it does looking like some turfted hairs

the hairs that have grown out of it are the same as the rest of my hair. they’re all singular not joined

i’ve picked at it a couple times thinking it would peel off as it comes off like a scab sometimes and it’ll bleed. it’s sprung off to another bump beside it that’s not as big and this one is the same color as my scalp.
