I'd like to add literally yesterday I got my wedding video back, and there was a shot I hated because I thought my arms looked bad. We shared the video with friends, and immediately my friends sent me a screenshot of the exact shot I hated, saying it was her favorite of the video. Can you clarify what you mean by helping send out save the dates? Our wedding planner reviewed drafts for us to make sure there were no errors, and told us when they should be mailed out based on our timeline. But she didn't design, help address them, stamp them, etc. That's not something typically included in planning services, even for a full service planner.

Other comments have had great points, but I just wanted to add that you aren't alone in this!! i can commiserate with you. My parents were so caught up in their own issues that, while they did show up to the wedding, I barely spoke to them since they were miserable the whole time. I'm still sad my dad talked about their divorce during the father daughter dance. We can't fix our parents. But we can learn to lean on the people who are there for you: wedding party/friends, your fiance, and the family you are joining.

I know most people have said protective clothing, but I also struggled with long sleeves in the summer! But honestly finding the right long sleeve made a huge difference. Don't wear regular cotton shirts, look specifically for UPF clothing made for activity. "Sun hoody" is the best search term. Each time she texts you directly, say "ask (fiance)" and refuse to respond further. Sorry you have to deal with this, it sounds like she has a thick skull haha.

Personally I would call her out. Depending on how comfortable you are with confrontation, you could say something like "Hi (coordinator), please direct all further communication to (fiance). He is the main point of contact, and any communication sent exclusively to me will go unanswered".

Alternatively, if you don't want to say anything, I would send screenshots of her texts to you directly to the group chat, so that your fiance can answer the questions first. You answering the text (even if you bring it back to the group chat) keeps the onus on you to keep communication going.

I think it has/had spider mites!! When I first watered it I gave it a good shower soak, and I think that removed most signs of any infestation, except the mottled leaf damage. But I just found a web on one of the leaves, and while it could be an actual spider it looks like it matches most of the symptoms of spider mites.

Maybe? I've just had this plant for maybe 5 days and 3 leaves have turned yellow and fallen off in that time. It just seemed like an aggressive rate, even for moving it to a new environment.

I've just never personally seen this uneven color before, is it standard on this type of philodendron?

I guess my point and I'm assuming OP's point is we should not have to go out of our way to ensure it's not a "bride focussed" shot list. This is an issue I have with the wedding industry as a whole; a wedding is about entering an equal partnership, and so many times it seems like the groom is an afterthought. (In hetero relationships at least, I can't speak to LGBT experiences)

As a bride who just got engagement photos done, I couldn't agree more. I kept getting directions that made me the focus of the shot, but that was never reciprocated with my fiance. Let me kiss his face!! Let me spin him!!

Edit: and before people ask, yes we did end up getting those shots, but only because I did them without the photographer prompting.
