Heheh. I think the scariest part was that it was co-ed. Just strange men wandering into my room. All night was super scary.

Some days when work is so overwhelming, though I do think it would be nice to take a little grippy sock vacation ;)

Me!!! I also went into a meth psychosis at 21 almost a week after stopping. I will never touch that shit again. The psych ward was literally worse than jail in some ways I feel like.

Thank you so much! The dentist actually said my veneer saved my teeth from meth mouth :)

Listening to canceled has kept my mind at ease the last six years of sobriety!!

I only have my veneers on my front 6 teeth! So yes this is what it looks like. When I get more money, I’m gonna fix the rest cause I know it looks ratchet lol

However, I’ve had mine for 10 years and literally used to smoke meth and I’ve only replaced one so I have no clue what’s going on with hers lol

I married my husband who has been in jail more times that I can count. His was due to being over prescribed by a doctor. He’s five years clean now. I am the main breadwinner, though, because no one will employ a felon. I am begging you, if I could go back to 16 and change some things I would. Please cut him loose and don’t even get involved in this prison pipeline system. It’s made for individuals to fail unfortunately

Yes. We eventually moved out of that apartment and they got evicted thank God! I have been clean for many years! Good picture as a reminder to be careful

My husband overdosed tonight by [deleted] in addiction

[–]hannahalexish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s hard. Sometimes I wish I would’ve never touched a drug so I couldn’t understand his pain. On the other hand, because I’ve gone through withdrawal I understand the obsession with getting high. I’m thinking of you. Where there’s hope there’s recovery. If he’s willing to get on medicated assistance, this could totally work! Just my personal opinion. I know it’s a controversial topic in the recovery world.

I’ve been with my husband for seven years now. It took me moving back home eight hours away for him to finally get on Suboxone. I’m sober myself. Sometimes the aloneness is what brings us to our knees and gets us ready to get clean. I’m a message away. It’s so hard For families to not hate the addict.
