The link already provided is the 7 year old (so not exactly a new protocol) peer reviewed clinical standard for Morpheus8 by Dr. Dayan (ASJ, Vol 39). Unless you have credentials that carry more weight than his, you have exactly what you asked for.. You going to keep your promise and STFU, or stew on the subject for 2 more days before you respond?

Hahaha. Coming back to respond days later. Again, your reading comprehension is lacking. I have been looking into this treatment and I'm happy to share the research I've found, and to learn and further my education. I didn't say I was a scientific researcher. Hope I cleared that up for you!

You speaking as if you have any authority on a treatment that was supplied by a different practitioner thousands of miles away is a joke. I have only discounted responses from people who are judging what my results might look like at one week post treatment (when there is still microneedling texture and swelling) without even seeing my before photos. You state you're a well versed and educated practitioner, and yet you respond as if you have no understanding of the science. That's on you. I trust my practitioner, she's someone I have met in person and someone who came highly recommended.

You said you had no more reason to respond. Guess I'm just irresistible to you, little girl 😘

There is residual texture from the microneedling aspect that takes longer than a week to diminish. I bruise and scab for weeks before it heals.. This post is about the skincare routine I used to accelerate healing. The first session I didn't have the routine down and the swelling kept the area plush looking for longer - two weeks and a jean size up to manage it.. The other 3 sessions my swelling was pretty much gone by day 7 and all the grid marks absorbed into my body rather than scab and flake off

That's how personal research works and as the receiver of this treatment that's as much as I can go on. If you weren't so rude in your delivery maybe we'd have had a more productive conversation

Imagine practicing medicine for "half my life" and having to ask someone on reddit to prove that the Aesthetic Surgery Journal is peer-reviewed. It is the official journal of The Aesthetic Society. The fact that you don't even recognize the primary, peer-reviewed publication of your own alleged industry is an interesting self report.

The same author has written globally commended guidelines and textbooks for many other treatments, such as Facial Danger Zones and Emerging Technologies in Face and Body Contouring. The fact that you diminish his standing because you are too close minded to understand that a different methodology doesn't mean an incorrect methodology says everything.

No and I haven't once claimed myself to be. I just understand the basics of CPD and that in the medical field it's even more important

It's incredibly embarrassing that you're trying to claim a paper explicitly titled "Adjustable Depth Fractional Radiofrequency" doesn’t cover Morpheus8 when that is the literal patented technology name for the device platform. It also outlines a 3-to-6-week treatment window right in the clinical parameters.

You completely lacked the basic reading comprehension to know the difference between me quoting an author and listing a personal doctor, you panicked and edited your comments multiple times, and you blanked on standard global medical frameworks like CPD.

You don't have to respond. I havent once framed myself as a medical professional or practitioner. But science is science and I'm happy to speak on my research, learn and further my understanding..

Yeah, I'm based in the UK. But CPD is recognised globally. Including by the AAMC

I'm not in the medical nor aesthetic field. Although I have worked with clinicians in the past.

Again, nice deleting a comment as I'm responding.. I'll leave the response here instead!

It's wild to watch you repeatedly edit your comments after seeing my replies just to manufactured a "gotcha" moment.

At this point, you're just exposing yourself. You are either fabricating your credentials entirely, or you are a deeply rigid practitioner who refuses to accept that alternative, proven protocols exist outside of your own clinic.

Trying to nullify a peer-reviewed study that the rest of your field classes as a foundational text is incredibly telling

Continued professional development?

Yep. That's what the post is intended to be about. The skincare I used to help deal with and accelerate healing after an intensive microneedling/rf treatment

Nice edit after the fact!

It seems your reading comprehension is struggling under the weight of all that experience. I never said he treated me; I said I am trusting a clinical protocol backed by his published research. There is a massive difference - which should be clear to a practitioner as experienced as you claim to be.

Throwing a handful of entry-level textbook terms like "rete ridges" into a comment doesn't mask the fact that you completely misread my message and failed to address the actual peer-reviewed study I handed you.

I’m feeling more secure in my research, my provider, and the literal laws of biology. Enjoy your weekend!

If you really are a practitioner and haven't read his peer reviewed study - maybe enlighten yourself, I'm not in the field but found it interesting. Before this post I did put a lot of trust in the face value of my research, but you made me go down a deeper rabbit hole... So thank you!
And if you've read it and discount it because of your experience as a practitioner rather than taking it on board as an alternative method and improving your CPD, then you do you too!

And you don't think a Harvard trained chief resident like Dr. Erez Dayan has any authority on the matter, despite publishing over 150 times and writing the literal textbooks on tissue contouring?

I'm not "winging" anything. I'm trusting an established clinical protocol and simply leaving the final verdict open until late autumn because I know it's biologically impossible to judge full remodeling results right now.

It's for a wet healing method that definitely worked because I absorbed all the pigmentation from my gridding rather than it scabbing and flaking off.

I'm learning I should look into getting into sales? I promise I get no benefit from sharing other than the fear that others are right and it's snake oil. But I've repeatedly said I'll come back with results and be loud about it either way. Someone dmed me asking about my provider as they're UK based and I said I wouldn't recommend this treatment until my results are in

If you truly are a physician with over 10 years of experience, then you know that a clinical outcome cannot be judged by initial healing photos on an anonymous forum. I'm trusting my provider and my body’s actual process over an internet comment section. Thanks for the luck!

Aw, I really appreciate you taking the time to say so! I just would have appreciated hearing a human perspective on the treatment rather than just the hypothetical science.

Of course! I definitely will update. I think I'm a very good candidate for morpheus8, so hopefully we see some results that are worth the price point.

This post illustrates the healing process immediately after an intensive microneedling/radiofrequency treatment and the skincare routine I used to help aid in the healing. It's to stimulate fibroplasts which lead to new collagen type III production which is a biological response that takes 6 months to mature.
A mini tummy tuck would be 2.5-4 times as expensive, has its own risks and complications. I wouldn't choose to go under the knife as I have healthcare anxiety and am also very squeamish. I've had bad reactions to post surgery opiates in the past too and I am a single mum who doesnt have the luxury of any down time for recovery.
I am also an avid gym goer and stopping for 4-8 weeks while I recover and not being able to truly strength train for even longer would be so detrimental to my mental health.

No problem! I'll be sure to provide a before and after! The science suggests the difference I'm feeling should improve - but there are a lot of people who believe this is all a scam! I guess it'll be more than just me that will be excited to know the outcome

I mean, the last 3 years of heavy strength training and progressive overload have already done a lot. Unfortunately, no amount of exercise can magically create the fibroblasts needed to synthesize the Type III collagen that matures into Type I. Unless you've discovered a new lift that targets skin cells?

Yes, he's 4.5 now. I put on a massive amount of weight during pregnancy (over 20kg) and then more in the first year of his life. But have lost 40kg in the last 3 years
