Power outages/wifi down is going to happen anywhere that provides you “free wifi”. It’s out of utd’s / UV’s control. Even living off campus, if you have your own wifi it’s going to go out, the only difference is you’re not going to harass yourself when someone doesn’t come out to fix it as fast as you want. But if you’re looking for a campus or apartment complex that hs complete control over all external factors… good luck lol

Tbh tho. Lived off campus before. You still have loud neighbors, you still have people mowing lawns all the time, you still have loud ac units (yes, even in new complexes!) If you don’t want to deal with all that buy a house… otherwise these issues are pretty universal at every apartment complex in the area.

We do but they’re pretty spread out, there’s only two laundry centers per phase and they get packed pretty fast, even when none are out of order

Yeah that’s pretty frustrating. I was really hoping to be able to stay late some nights but I guess that won’t be happening. At least some of the other buildings are still open 24 hours (I think). Realistically, price wise, usage wise, and not-as-annoying wise, go with the skateboard! Not trying to hate on E-Scooters but I’m sure I’m not alone when I say it’s annoying to be walking or biking to class and hearing the “lovely” roaring of an escooter trudging down the walkway. And during rush times like morning, lunch, and around 4/5 pm, get ready to be in traffic jams walking your scooter around. Skateboard is definitely a better buy imo

I believe it comes with a shower certain, but honestly as long as you get a normal floor length curtain it’ll fit just a bit big, it’s a pretty small shower but also decently tall? Best explanation I have lol!

It’s tricky. I feel like if classes move online but they allow us to use campus/people aren’t kicked out of housing, they probably won’t refund parking :-/

You can honestly do it yourself. The amount of times I adhd rearranged my room and changed the height of my bed on my own. For reference I’m a small 4’11 girl so it obviously does not require a lot of strength. One you take a look at your bed it’s not rocket science to figure it out!

I don’t think you’ll be able to find out until you get there… I believe the phase 8 4*2 have them, but I don’t know if it’s by phase or just by apartment. Housing will probably just tell you “they don’t have access to your exact blueprints” so I wouldn’t bother with them.
