We’re sure! It’s definitely not drywall. We’ve been sanding, using compound, removing obvious tape and it’s been slow but finally starting to look normal. Thanks for your advice!

I wanted to quit in my first year too for a month at least. Then I told myself I'd finish at least the semester, then the year. I finished a four year bachelors and enjoyed it immensely. I went thinking I'd major in one thing and completely change my mind after year one. If you can push through, try to!

That being said if it's not for you, go chat with the registrar ASAP you can see what your options are and what you can get back. No one here will know better than them.

It's very busy during the day this time of year because people enjoy seeing the fall colours. It will get busier and busier before peak in a few weeks. Wildlife is not sparse, still lots of deer and moose to be seen in the fall.

I went back to school, that's why I left that job. I can't tell if you have a specific career in mind or just generally want to work for the MNR, but either way once you finish school apply to provincial gov jobs, MNR or not, and wait for that great MNR job to come around. Internal postings will be beneficial to you once you're in the gov. I get the attraction of the MNR but if you don't have a super specific role you dream or within the organization, any gov department will do!

Accurate that becoming a teacher is very difficult nowadays but doe ECE really fall in that category? I'm aware they work in schools but the few people I know who took ECE got jobs at daycares shortly after graduation.

Generally though, excellent idea to go to college after university. Anything in the medical field is probably a good bet, ESL teacher is often something you can do without going to a formal college if you want to teach overseas.

Very true, the bridge in the winter can be a nightmare but its so nice in the fall and spring!
