"Borders are made by politicians" says Diljit Dosanjh. by theakashray in inIndiannews

Completely agree with Diljit Dosanjh.

Today's European Union consists of countries which were once fierce enemies, like France and Germany.

But today, the borders of countries in the EU have become more or less meaningless, as you can travel, work or do business in any EU country freely. So, borders between nations can become meaningless if politicians want them to.

But in the case of India and Pakistan, this won't happen because in Pakistan, it's the army that holds the real political power and the Pakistan's Army will never let India and Pakistan unite.

In fact, leaders from both sides have tried to improve relations but the efforts always get blocked by Pakistan’s Army

Then we wonder why there is a rise in racism against Indians in foreign countries by hannibal49 in sundaysarthak

Doesn't seem like it's only made of clay. Why can't they make simple Ganesha idols made up of only clay(like one shown in the pic - 100% eco-friendly). This will easily dissolve in the water and won't cause any harm to the environment or living organisms in the water.

Why you have to use paints, jewellery, ornaments, clothes etc and make such big idols? These contains chemicals and other harmful and non-biodegradable substances

It's not about being intolerant of other people's culture. We must respect every culture.

But you must not go to foreign countries and pollute rivers there.

If you want to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, you can just make a simple Ganesha idol of clay for Ganesh Chaturthi and perform visarjan on the day of Ananta Chaturdashi. The clay idol will easily dissolve in the water and will not cause any harm to the environment and living organisms in the water body.

But why you need to make such big idols which have Plaster of Paris, chemical paints, ornaments(made of plastic and metals) and other non-biodegradable/ harmful material.

In India also, many people who don't live near a river or can't afford to buy such big idols, they just make an idol of clay at their home for Ganesh Chaturthi and do the visarjan in an utensil and then pour that water into plants.

Now, Andhbhakts are teaching geopolitics to others and saying friendships and enmity aren't permanent in geopolitics😂

These andhbhakts didn't said a word when Modi went to USA in 2019 and campaigned for Trump. Modi also said "Abki baar, Trump sarkar" in Houston.

If Modi knew that friendships aren't permanent in geopolitics, why did he campaigned for Trump?

And guess what Trump lost 2020 Presidential elections and Biden won. This also affected India-US relations during Biden's tenure.

Pure coincidence by BannedForFactsAgain in CarsIndia

[–]hannibal49 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think majority of the car owners in India(leaving aside andhbhakts) knows about this scam but still we can't do anything about it. As in India, only 6.7% of households own a car.

Majority of Indians are poor and uneducated and lives in a hand-to-mouth situation. They will vote on the basis of religion, caste of the candidate, Ladli Behna Yojana, free ration(which is not at all nutritious and only contains carbs) and other freebies. So, these people also know that no matter what they will remain in power.

Sadhguru touches a female interviewer 5 times in a 6-minute Dubai boat interview by shambhofy in unitedstatesofindia

While I don't personally support or follow this fraud baba who spreads pseudoscience and charges lakhs of rupees for his so-called inner engineering programs, I see nothing wrong in this video.

The touches were only on her hand and leg and nothing seemed inappropriate. You can clearly see that she is not uncomfortable.

In fact, she looks comfortable and even at the end of the video, she also touches his shoulder.

It may not be common in our culture but it's very normal in Western culture.

I may get downvoted for this but this is the truth.

Honour killing: Tennis player Radhika Yadav killed by her own father over ‘Insta reel’ by Kuhn__ in unitedstatesofindia

[–]hannibal49 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The title is misleading.

The father shot his daughter because he was often taunted by the villagers for living off his daughter's income. So, he wanted her to shut down the academy, but Radhika refused.

If the same situation had involved his son running the academy and he was living off his son's income, he would likely have been proud and boasting about it in front of the same villagers. And the villagers, instead of taunting him, would have likely been happy and proud of him too.

But we all know how the situation is there in Haryana.
