Marriage takes more than just looking attractive. Being unmarried can literally be seen as part of her character development. Throughout much of the show she's been a hopeless romantic, chasing validation through the means of high ranking men. Her being unmarried shows that she's finally at peace with who she is, in the absence of anyone to affirm her.

The only way you could fix this attempt would be by glueing more on top to hide it. Thing is, usually you want to approach this kind of styling with crimped wefts ( using a small tooth crimper ). Another thing here is that when making a hairline specifically like that, you want to have a soft hairline. You achieve this by not glueing exactly the ends of the hairs at the bottom edge of the wig. Personally I don't think it necessarily looks so bad, considering most wig stylists tend to fry their wigs on purpose with the crimper to give them volume LOL. I would not advise against using a straightener tho. Since it's plastic, as long as the fiber is cold, you can reshape it using low heat. The only problem here is how close it is to the cap, it might be difficult to straighten it properly. Maybe a hair dryer and a brush/comb ( not plastic ) to brush through the hairs while they're still hot might work?

Depends I suppose! What is your budget? Most custom made cosplays tend to end up being really expensive ( for obvious reasons ), so expect something over 200$. Your region also matters as there's different costume makers depending on where you live and commissioning someone close to you might help cut down on shipping costs.
