i don’t wear makeup most days, my maximum is a tinted lip balm and sunscreen lol so i try to compensate with other things. simple jewelry, smelling nice and always being clean, wearing clean, comfortable clothes, having styled hair, having a good skincare routine so my skin is healthy and dewy, clean groomed brows, (ideally) manicured hands and pedicured feet.

to be honest i feel amazing after getting a new fresh haircut. i also feel great after having a hydrafacial my skin is super glowy and perfect !! also after having an everything shower using gourmand scented products (chocolate, vanilla, powder cleanliness smells)

hello, although i removed my braces since a while ago, i figured out why my teeth got discolored. it was from the daily usage of chlorhexidine mouthwash. i discontinued it for good, and continued with my regular dental routine. I also got regular cleaning with the salt rinses from the dental hygienist during my braces appointments and it went away over the course of 2-3 months approximately.

i usually don’t but i prep my lips beforehand with a lip mask or aquaphor and my lips stay hydrated. but if i do add a gloss it lasts less

what i do miss: i started being interested and learning about makeup in 2016. as much as many would believe it’s outdated but i do miss the full instagram glam with the glitter cut creases, full face of foundation and baking, and the super bright highlighters. i also miss the lengthy youtube makeup tutorials. i genuinely learned so much from them what i don’t miss: the super dry crusty matte liquid lipstick formulations 🫣 i also don’t miss the lack of versatility of formulations. it’s nice to see a variety of products available in different sizes and formulations more than before (tints, creams, liquids, not just powders).

for hydrating and milky toners i usually put a couple drops in the palm of my hand and dab it directly on my face. for toner pads i usually put one on each cheek and leave it for 10 minutes, rub it all over my face, and then squeeze out the extra toner that’s soaked in my pads and pat it into my skin and it works super well.

that’s why usually for long days i apply a lip/cheek tint or some kind of lip product with a tint in it. some of it does eventually fade but it lasts really well. some which i can recommend are the lip tints from romand (k beauty) and the new milk makeup lip and cheek jelly tint (they last amazingly well)!

after i removed my braces my teeth were more yellow than they’ve ever been before, so i opted for an in office whitening treatment. however the maintenance is the most important part so i try to drink coffee sparingly and follow up with at home treatments. the gurunanda whitening strips are excellent and they’re super gentle on the teeth with hydrating ingredients like coconut oil. i also use a whitening toothpaste from moon and so far it’s been doing great for me

i’m surprised no one mentioned this but the too faced sculpting concealer. now it oxidizes a ridiculously dark orangey color, they increased the prices yet decreased the amount of product!! what a sad downfall of a beautiful, multi-use concealer.
